Jumping

Anna Claire is our thrill seeker, if you will.  She gets into anything and everything.  Sometimes you can't help but just laugh at her.  Other times, I would like to ring her neck, but I don't!!!

The kid LOVES to jump and she's pretty coordinated in doing so.  The other day she was just jumping away and having a blast.  I tried to get pictures of the action, but they didn't turn out as well as I wished...

After each jump, she would stop and say "mor" (more).  She's a funny girl!

Weekend Recap

Friday we followed some friends to see a drive thru Christmas light display about 45 minutes away.  It was at the NH race track.  We had a really good time.  The lights were so pretty.  The girls loved it.  Anna Claire is at a fun age in that every light she sees, she gets so excited.  When we are driving down the road and she sees lights, she says "light Daddy", every time.  It's funny!

Saturday we went and played at the park for a while.  The temperature wasn't too cold that day.  I ran some errands, and came home to cook for the Bama vs. Auburn game.  It was a good game, but kinda boring.  Bama won 49-0.  Roll Tide!!!

Mini Mexican Pizza
I got this recipe off someones blog or pintrest.  It was a big hit here.

Sunday, after church, I had choir practice and a sweet lady watches AC for me.  The big girls play with their friends.  Craig had to teach a class.  After church, we just chilled and it was so nice and relaxing.  I did make a good pot of Chili and grilled cheeses.

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a really great Thanksgiving.  It was our first to be away from family.  We skyped with some family Thanksgiving morning, so that was nice.

A nice man in our church smoked us a turkey, and it was sooooo good.

Another nice man in the church made the girls some Thanksgiving wood carvings, like turkeys, pumpkins, pilgrims, and such.  So they had lots of fun painting them.  AC got in on the action and made a big ole mess, but she had fun doing so.

Our DOM and his family invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner and we were very thankful for the invite and had a great time.  They have 4 children, one of which is near Abby's age.  There was another family there too, so 2 more kids to play with.  The girls had a good time, and the adults did too.  We played games and just had a great time.

I meant to take a family picture before we left, but we ended up leaving in a hurry and I forgot!

Thankful on Thanksgiving...

and every other day as well.  I wanted to record a small list of some of the things I'm most thankful for.

1.  I am saved by grace through the blood shed of my Savior, Jesus Christ.

2.  He gave me a wonderful husband who fears Him.

3.  He has loaned me 3 beautiful girls that I love so much.

4.  He allowed me to be raised in a wonderful family.

5.  He provides me with shelter, a car, food, water, and clothes.

6.  He has provided us all with good health so far in this life.

7.  He has put us in a wonderful church family.

8.  He has given me "things" that I enjoy.

9.  He has allowed me to make new wonderful friends.

10.  Thankful for His provision and protection on a daily basis.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and thankful Thanksgiving!!!

Putting up our Christmas Tree

Sunday after church we put up our Christmas tree and other decorations.  Every year, for some reason some of our lights don't work and I end up at Wal-Mart.  I picked up a few extra cute things while there, and we finished decorating when I got back.  AC usually takes a nap at this time, but I wanted her to be a part of it, so she skipped nap-time.
Helping Daddy put the tree together.  I think this is this trees last year.  It's kinda old and it leans.  I think we are going to do a real tree next year.

Hanging ornaments!

Someone took this while I was gone to get more lights, and I thought it was so cute!

Love it!

When we were finished, we got ready to take our Christmas pictures.  We usually go and have them done, but I wanted to do them at home this year, so we did.  I won't post those until after I send out our Christmas cards, which I ordered today, so hopefully they will be in next week.

After pictures, we got ready and went to our church's Thanksgiving dinner and had just a wonderful time.  I love Thanksgiving.  There is SO much to be thankful for.

Sisters

I loved having a sister so close to my age.  We were always pretty much best friends.  There were a couple of years where we had some issues in being best friends, but we got through it.  We always played together when we were little.  When we lived near each other, we hung out often and kept each others kiddos.  We actually still talk everyday and I CAN'T wait for her and her kiddos to come visit next month.

I was thrilled when finding out Kyndal was a girl, because I knew she and Abby would be close.  They really get along very well.  Of course they have their moments as all siblings do.  I always wanted to have 3 girls, and I got it!  Anna Claire is a good bit younger than A and K, but she thinks she is as big as they are.  They are very good with her, although Kyndal lives for aggravating AC.

Love these girls to pieces.  VERY thankful for them:)

They had a little slumber party the other night!

Anna Claire loves to be read to

Girls Night

Friday night we had a spend the night guest, Sarah.  The girls have played with her everyday this week except for Monday.  They have thoroughly enjoyed every minute.  Craig took the youth to a function called, Super Bowl in Rhode Island.  It was an all night thing, so we had an all girls night.

New hair & Roll Tide

Last Friday, me, Kyndal, and Craig all got haircuts.  My hair was just getting too long and looking and feeling to thin.  Kyndal's was the same.  We have thin, fine hair and it just doesn't do all that great real long.  Abby is letting hers grow.  She has thick hair like Craig.  I'm gonna have to take Anna Claire before long, because she is making knots and pulling half of it out herself.

I didn't get a good one up close of Kyndal's with my camera, just my phone.

Of course we have been pulling for the Bama Boys all the way up here in New England.  People up here don't get into College football much, but we sure enjoy it.  They lost Saturday, but that's okay, because they have had a great season and have played so well.

Love this girl!

Bowling

Last Saturday night we went bowling with a bunch of people from church.  We had a really great time.  They do candle stick bowling here.  The pins are skinny and the balls are really small.  It's easier to roll the bowl, because it's smaller, but harder to knock down all the pins, because they are so skinny.  You get 3 tries instead of 2 like we are use to.  It was a really fun night with some really great people.

Just one

This past Monday, Abby and Kyndal went to a friends house for the afternoon.  I usually do my grocery shopping on Monday's, so after I dropped them off, Craig joined Anna Claire and I to shop.  We first stopped by Dunkin Donuts for a little sweetness.

She loves some snack food!

After grocery shopping, Anna Claire came home and helped me put things away.  Of course it's easier to shop and put away things with only one kid.  However, I must say Abby and Kyndal are usually a whole lot of help, so I'm very grateful either way!

For my record:  AC calls applesauce "appey"

I actually got this before leaving that morning, it was rather chilly out!

A few random pics

Before church last Sunday.  Kyndal wasn't into taking a picture, can you tell???

Too funny:)

A sweet lady in our church made all of us girls a scarf!  Here Abby and AC are modeling theirs.

So sweet:):):)

Getting out

Last Saturday morning it was so cold here.  We wanted to get out of the house for a while, so we went to the mall for a little walk and let the girls play for a few minutes.

When that car started bouncing from side to side, Anna Claire wanted OUT!

So Abby hopped in.  Yes they are too big for these, but oh well can't hurt once in a while!

This is better!!!

I thought this was so cute of her!  She is still messing with her hair.  I put a band aid on 2 of her fingers the other day when she went down for a nap to try and prevent it, but she took it off and created a knot.  I have cut 2 out lately and she is sporting a bad one right now!  I swear the child is going to be bald on top if she doesn't quit.  When I'm fixing Abby and Kyndal's hair, she will come in, and in her language ask me to fix hers.  I explain that if she would leave her hair alone, it will grow, and then I can fix hers too.  She doesn't seem to care!!
