Celebrating

Because Abby and Kyndal's birthdays are so close (11 days), we have always celebrated them together, except their 1st b'days.  They enjoy it and as long as they do, we will do it this way.  This year we all decided to just make it a family celebration, so on Monday, we made the whole day about what they wanted to do.

They chose Longhorn's for lunch

because they love steak

and playing with their food:)

And then we went to Chuck E Cheese for games!

HiLaRiOuS!!!

Then we headed to Orange Leaf for some frozen yogurt!

In between the games and yogurt, we did some shopping, where they were picking out what they are saving up for.  Trying to find the best price and such!  It was a good day!  The girls said they had lots of fun, so that was great:)

Kyndal's Day

It started with her favorite breakfast...Breakfast Casserole!

Her big sister made her this card, which was so cute!

Birthday dinner of her choice=steak, Annie's mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts.

Her card from mom and dad

$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dessert of her choice=Strawberry and chocolate muffins

We did more celebrating this day, but it was actually for both girls, so I will post about that later.  Kyndal also got several more cards with $$$$$$$ from family throughout the week.  She is saving up for something she's been wanting for a while.  She has just a little more to save up!!

She had a really good birthday:)

She is 9

Happy 9th Birthday Kyndal Beth

Kyndal, you are a precious child who we adore.  You are sweet, caring, quiet, fashionable, a hard worker, and a go getter.  You work really hard at school and are always willing to help around the house.  You are a good big sister and a good little sister.  You are a good daughter and friend too.  You play very well by yourself and with others.  You love gymnastics and seem to really like soccer too.  You are doing well in school and you try hard, even though you like to get done in a hurry some days.  Your Daddy and I love you so very much and are so blessed to have you as our daughter.  We hope you have an absolute wonderful birthday!

Our prayer for you is that you will love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, spirit, and being.  Always follow the Lord.  Always ask Him for wisdom.  Always seek Him before making decisions, big or small.  He cares and He wants to lead you.  We pray your heart's desire will be to serve Him in All you do.  He loves you more than you can even imagine!!!

Love you BIG sweet girl:)

Around here

We have a 3 day weekend and we are excited!

Kyndal's birthday is Monday, so we are taking the day off from school:)

We have fun plans to celebrate Kyndal and Abby's birthday's on Monday!  Abby's is in 2 weeks.

School is going well for all 3 girls.  Anna Claire is doing really well with numbers, shapes, colors, and sounds.  She remembers a few of the letters we've learned, but not all of them.  She loves to paint.

We do have a pretty busy weekend.  We have soccer, church picnic, friends over for dinner and fellowship, church, choir, and the girls dance ministry they are a part of.  It will be fun!

The weather is pretty cool here.  Our high was like 65 today.  It's suppose to reach 70 tomorrow.  It is suppose to be very pretty tomorrow which will be nice for the picnic.

There was a Huge fire over here Tuesday night.  The girls and I were looking at shoes on the computer when Abby got up and looked out the back door and said momma there's a fire.  We thought she was kidding, but O, she wasn't.  I called 911.  It was an auto business, so it had cars in it and lots of oil.  It burned like crazy for over 5 hours.  It was a 3 alarm fire and they were out from 7:45 pm to 7:05 am.  Very sad for the owner.  Thankful no one was hurt.

I've probably mentioned this before but I will again............my mom is coming for Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm not excited or anything:)

Happy Weekend!!

Soccer begins

Saturday was their first game and they liked it a lot.  They both did so well.  Their teams played each other, so cheering for them was kinda funny.  Ha, we just cheered for both teams and girls of course.  It was a really hot and humid day, so they cut the game short about 15 min as some kids were getting too hot.  One little girl on Kyndal's team got hurt within 10 minutes of the game starting.  They were thinking she might have broken her arm.  Poor girl.  Craig gets to coach Kyndal's team this week!  They have been practicing with Craig too.  Thankfully it's a lot cooler here now.  Some of their last games, it will be cold!

One of their cheerleaders:)

That's Abby in the gray top with black shorts with the pink and white on them.

That's Kyndal in the red top with orange shorts with white on them.

Gymnastics

So the girls began last Thursday.  Anna Claire's class was at 1, and the big girls class was at 3:30.  We had to run an errand that day after lunch so we were in a hurry to get there and got caught in road construction, and ended up being 10 minutes late.  Anna Claire had been talking about going all day and seemed so excited.  We walk in the door, and she starts bawling.  She wanted nothing to do with it.  She was the only child in that class because some had not signed up yet and most go in the morning hours.  The coach said her sisters could go with her, but she still didn't want to.  Maybe next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abby and Kyndal loved their class, but I knew they would.  They have taken gymnastics before and loved it.  They both did really well!

Take 1:  Cute pic, too much shadow, everyone was ready and excited!

Take 2:  Cute pic, better lighting, and here we go!!!  O, and Roll Tide:)

Take 3: Cute pic, missing one:)  Maybe next year!!

Lately...

It's been a little busy around here!  Fun busy:)  Friday, Craig and I went to a Gaither's Vocal Band Concert with some friends from church down in Boston.  I'm not a real big concert fan, but that was a really good concert.  I didn't get any pictures because I left my purse at home, on accident.  I forget a lot of things, but never my purse, so you can imagine the angst I was feeling when I couldn't find it in the car.  Ha!  Any who, it was a really fun and late night!

Saturday, the big girls started soccer.  It just so happened to be a really hot and humid day here in NE.  The game got cut short about 15 minutes because some kids were over heating.  The girls did so good.  We were so proud of them.  They played each other!!  I do have pics, for another post:)  That evening we had a friend come for dinner and enjoyed the fellowship greatly.

Sunday, after church, which I'm sure was a good service, but I was in the nursery, Craig took the big girls for a run and to practice soccer.  They have been asking to train for a 5K.  They want to do the Love Run with us next year.  We had some more friends for dinner that night, and enjoyed more good fellowship.  I got to rock a sweet baby boy to sleep and hold him for a good while.  I won't lie, it gave me baby fever.  When they left, the fever did too, thank the Lord:):):)

Last night, Craig and I went to SNA (send North America) Conference in Boston where David Platt was preaching.  When we are in AL, we go to the church he pastors, but next Sunday is his last there, as he has been called as president of the IMB.  We loved hearing him again, it was a good message and we enjoyed the night out.

School is in full force here!  It is going well so far.  Teaching a 4 year old has it's challenges at moments, but what important things in life don't?!?!  She is doing really well and loves doing school every day.  The big girls are doing really well too.

Gymnastics started last week, and of course the girls are loving that.  It will have a post of it's own with pics!

The weather is SO awesome here this week and should be for the next month, maybe!  Windows open, with an awesome breeze and pretty sunshine.  Love it!!!

We have 2 girls with birthday's coming up!  They get big so fast:)

We also get to spend our very first holiday with some family (well a family member) this year and we could not be more excited.  My mom plans to be here for Thanksgiving.  We are on the countdown!!!

That's about all for now...

Labor Day Fun

I know I'm way behind on posting about Labor Day, but o well!  It was a beautiful day here, and it was really hot.  We went to a park with some friends for a picnic, bike riding, kickball, running, soccer, baseball, playground, and tennis fun.  Ha!  We had a blast.  It was really a great day of friends, fun, fellowship, and exercise:)

The Love Run

Craig and I ran our first 5K together this past Saturday.  I wasn't planning to run anymore this year, but this one was for ministry, so I did, and Craig joined me.  It was fun, and hard.  The course was the easiest, but I just struggled mentally with this one.  I finished at 30:23.  Craig finished a few seconds before me.  He stayed with me through the race, so I slowed him down big time.

Here we go!

Ah, the finish line:)

Our sweet and encouraging friends who came and watched the girls while we ran!

Our "little" family that I love O SO much!!!

Running with friends!!!

Now, I'm really done with the races for this year:)
