Easter 2012

Abby and Kyndal went to Sunrise Service with Craig on Easter morning.  We thought Anna Claire would be more of a distraction than anything, so we stayed home.  We had a great service as usual, and afterwards we went to lunch with a sweet man from church.  The girls and I actually did some school work while the baby napped, we hid eggs in the back yard, and played outside.  We had a sweet couple over for dinner and a sweet fellowship time with them.

He Lives

in my heart and life and I am so so so very thankful and grateful.  As I was driving the other day, it was so pretty out, and it was quiet and peaceful in my car and I was praying and thinking of how grateful I am for God's grace and mercy in my life.  He chose to give His life for each of us, and He chose to show mercy to my lost soul 19 years ago, and He has chosen to show much mercy and grace throughout my whole life.  I am truly so overwhelmed with thankfulness, and pray to grow so much more each and every day.  Thank you Jesus for the price you paid on Calvary.

He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.  Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.  But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.  Isaiah 53: 3-5

Thank you Lord for the privilege and blessing to be the wife and mother to this man and children!

Check up & Field trip

I had to take Anna Claire for a check up yesterday from when she had an ear infection 3 weeks ago.  It was all cleared up, so that was good.  It was just me, AC, and Kyndal, because we had a 12 service at our church that Craig was doing and Abby wanted to stay with him.  Anna Claire weighs 23 lbs and 10 oz.  She hates to be weighed too!! Silly girl.  Kyndal picked to eat at Checkers and they don't have an inside place to eat so we had a picnic in the car.

Everytime we get in the car and walk in the front door, the child removes her socks and shoes! (She was saying teeeesh)

This morning we got up and went to the Wehel Center Festival near our town.  It's a nature place and twice a year different people come for the day and show different things they make and do.  It's really interesting and you can learn alot.  It is a beautiful day too and the weather is just perfect.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  Kyndal wasn't too interested in learning, but Abby was.

This cute little girl walked up beside Anna Claire and AC looked up at her and smiled and took her hand, it was the sweetest thing!!!

Egg hunt, baby's first boo boo, & link up

Wednesday we had our church egg hunt during our regular schedule children service time.  It went really well, and we had lots of children.  We fed them and then they were off to hunt.

Yesterday during gymnastics, I took Anna Claire outside to walk around and I was walking behind her, so as she was walking she was looking at me (when she should have been watching forward where she was walking).  I saw she was about to walk right off the curb and I yelled watch out, and down she went.  I think me yelling scared her more than anything, she only cried for a moment.  She got her leg good, but she was fine.

I also linked up with Kelly from Kelly's Korner today, as she did SUYL all girls!  I absolutely love having all girls.  I was so happy to know Abby was a girl, and was so hoping Kyndal was a girl, and thought AC was a boy, but I was wrong and so happy to be wrong.  Love our 3 girls!!!

Tuesday's Thoughts

We have our 3rd adoption class tonight.  I do enjoy this time for several reasons.  1. Time for just me and Craig to be together. 2. Great information (usually information overload).  3. Preparing for what the Lord has planned for our life.  The lady who leads our classes said some states don't require the classes, and after taking only 2 classes I'm extremely grateful to be living in a state that does. 

I made the girls a chore list with help from the hubby.  It's pretty generic, but it works for an 8 and 6 year old.  They ask, "Will Anna Claire have a list when she gets older?"  I have to keep explaining that she's only a baby, so we have to clean up after her.  They are all "into" this chore list today, but I'm sure it will get real old real fast!  They did also ask if they had to do their chores in the summer, "Um, Yep!"

Our girls have more blankets and pillows/pillow pets than anyone I know!
My "baby" will be 2 years old in 2 short months!!

We have 31 days of school left!!!

I just finished reading The Vow, in 4 days.  Awesome book, I would encourage you to read it!

I'm enjoying the weather we've had, but not so much the bugs!

Today as I was looking out the back door, I saw a squirrel trapped on the trampoline.  I don't know if it fell off a tree limb or what, but it was sad and funny to watch.  When I went to take a picture it, it was trying so hard to get out.  I called Craig to come and help it, but before he made it over here, the squirrel somehow managed to get out!

I've done pretty well this week with exercising, hopefully I can keep it up!?!?

We are having the church Easter egg hunt tomorrow evening during our Wednesday night children's time, the girls are looking forward to it.

We won't get to make it home this year for Easter, but that's okay, some sweet family members are coming next weekend to help me with my yardsale, and it just so happens to be my birthday too!!!!  Looking forward to their visit!

Pedicures & a bike ride

After it quit raining Saturday afternoon, Craig and another church member went out into the community and did outreach.  When he got home, he sent me and the big girls to get pedicures.  We didn't hesitate for a moment.  It was fun, relaxing, and a good time together.  When we got back, Craig wanted to go for a walk on the trail, but Anna Claire just was not feeling good and I needed to cook dinner so, the girls asked him if they could ride their bikes while he walked, and he said yes.  Kyndal came out of the room and said you're the best dad ever!!!  They always ask to ride their bikes on the trail, but I always say no, because it makes me a nervous wreck.  There are many drop offs along the trail and my nerves just can't take it!  They went 3 miles and had a blast.  The girls were pooped after that long ride too.

Anna Claire was still under the weather yesterday, but seems much better today.
