Concerts

Saturday afternoon, the girls put on a concert for Craig and I.  They are so funny.  They both enjoy singing, but Abby Loves it.  The girl is always singing.  Of course Anna Claire joins in the best she can!

Several months ago a sweet lady and her daughter gave us tickets to see Casting Crowns this past Saturday night.  They even lined up a baby sitter for us.  We were in a hurry to leave, so I didn't get a pic of us, oh well!  We did have a really good time.  It was nice to be able to talk without being interrupted for two hours, an hour there and back.  The concert was really good too.  We enjoyed ourselves a ton.  We did have to leave at intermission because it was already after 9 pm, so we needed to relieve the baby sitter (Ms. sweet Nina), and that makes for a late night for a pastor before Sunday.

Sunday is always a busy day, but we are thankful!

Ready for church!  It's becoming much more challenging to get a good pic of all 3 of them (due to the precious 17 month old)!!!

Last night when church was over, we were just hanging around in the sanctuary talking and AC was just walking all over the place.  People don't see her alot because she is always in the nursery so they haven't seen her walking, which is so cute.  It was past her bedtime, so she was looking a little drunk at times with her swaying around trying to stay on those two feet.  She was getting lots of attention and loving it.  She of course did give some of those "crazy" looks out too.

p.s.  The girls did sleep all night in the living room floor Friday!!

Smores

We went to some friends house tonight for dinner and s'mores!!  They had a fire pit out back, so after we ate dinner, we went out and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores.  The girls had lots of fun running back and forth outside and just having a good ole time.  We adults had a real good time too.

The guys were listening to the Eufaula High School game on the radio, so the girls got in the back of the car and said they were tailgating!!!

She would go up and down that little step and would act like it was so difficult (ie, the look on her face)!

I'm not real sure what this look was all about????

John sure thought the s'mores were Yummy!!!

Abby loved them!

Kyndal didn't like them!!!

Anna Claire loves Mr. John

She loves Mr. Tony too!

Abby and Kyndal asked if they could sleep in the living room floor tonight, for whatever reason, and we told them they could.  So they went to setting up their "bed" for the night and this is how it looked.....

They had every blanket, comforter, sleeping bag, and pillow in their room there on the floor.  AC was having a field day!

Now let's see if they really stay there all night long.

Picking Pecans

We have a pecan tree in the front yard and the back yard.  We are not pecan lovers here, but the girls do love to pick them up.  We have some sweet older ladies in the church who they give them to and there is also an older man in the neighborhood who picks them out of the yard.  So they just gather them up in bags and sit them on the front porch for the neighbor to get.

For some reason they think it's easier to pick them up from a bike!!!

And while they had their fun outside, little bit did this........

She ate her lunch and then sucked her thumb!!  Her two favorite things to do these days... eat and suck her thumb.

She will be 17 months old tomorrow.  She has discovered that she loves to eat, and she will pretty much eat anything.  Tonight we had spaghetti, which the last 3 times I fed her that she would not eat it.  While me and the older girls were at gymnastics tonight, AC stayed home with Craig and he fed her dinner, which was a bowl of Gerber soup, a cup of fruit, some banana, a cookie, and her milk.  When we got home to eat she was eating off of Craig's plate and Kyndal's and was opening her mouth to anyone that would be willing to give her a bite.  The child loves to eat.  Far cry from the time she was born when she wouldn't eat anything for 2 days straight.  She is now walking all the time, she doesn't crawl at all anymore.  She is still a really good baby, but we are still in that "whining" stage!!!

Poster

While I was gone the other day, Abby and Kyndal made some decorations for our bedroom.  When I got home Abby said come see what we made for you and daddy.

At the bottom it says "Ya'll the best parints I ever ask for even when you get loud"

Apparently they think we (probably more so me) get loud sometimes!!!  I do lose my patience a bit too much, definitely something I need to work on.

Precious, precious girls!  Love them so much!

PE Test

Abby and Kyndal are having their physical education test this Friday.  They have been practicing in class for the past two weeks to get ready for it.  So they decided they needed to be practicing at home too.

Daddy joined in on the action!

Then Anna Claire joined in.  They were doing jumping jacks and AC started swinging her arms all around, it was hilarious!

In a previous post, I talked about Katie Davis who wrote Kisses from Katie.  I finished reading her book on Saturday.  I honestly just don't know what to say other than it is simply an awesome book and a MUST read.  I will continue to read it over and over because it just helps me keep a good perspective and helps me to grow spiritually.  I am in the process now of reading a chapter a day to the girls.  I so want to encourage, help, and inspire them to walk so closely and intimately with Jesus beginning right now.

Roll Tide

A sweet lady brought the girls some Eufaula Tiger shakers and flags over here on Saturday afternoon.  Eufaula colors are red and white so similar to Alabama's colors.  We were planning on watching the game in a couple of hours so the girls started cheering for the Bama boys.  It was quite a site and VERY loud!

Even though they didn't win, it was still a really great game!

Pictures

We went to Montgomery today to have our family, Abby's 8 year old, Kyndal's 6 year old, and Christmas pictures done.  Our appointment was at 10 am and it's an hour and a half drive so we had to wake up early this morning.  A and K both said I'm tired, I don't want to get up right now (i.e. luxury of home schooling)!

We had a fun time spending the day together.  The pictures went really well, I was very happy with all of them.  Now, I can't wait to get them!!!

We had some lunch at Moe's.  I haven't been to Moe's in forever, and after we were done I remembered why!  It wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't all that good either.  We then made our drive back home, which is always just a nice, sometimes quiet, time for Craig and I to talk.

Messy mouth eating Daddy's cheese dip!

Tired baby girl ready for some sleep!
