I am bad to want things/life/marriage/parenting to be easy too much.  I "know" that we grow the most in difficult times.  That's when we have to extend the grace and unconditional love to others, specifically here our spouses, that God always extends to us.  This is when we have the opportunity to really let Jesus shine in our lives through His power.  God is so So so good.  Help me Lord every moment of every day to become more like you and to love like you.
