We had a wonderful time being with our family for a few days. We were able to see everyone and it was such a blessing. Of course our reason for being there was very bittersweet, but we were ever so thankful for being able to go. The Lord provided in every single way possible. We had great traveling days which was huge. We only had a little snow on our way to AL. We rested well in hotels. It was all just a blessing.

Celebration
Pa, my granddad, for the last 25 years went to be with Jesus on January 12. He was 94 years old and served the Lord faithfully till his last breath. He prayed for people consistently. He loved people unconditionally. He was a wonderful husband to my grandmother. He loved his family so well. He meant SO much to us all and he will be greatly missed, but we truly rejoice that he is residing with our Father in Heaven.
We celebrated his life this past Saturday and the Lord provided for our family to be there. I cannot explain the gratefulness we had to be there. It was indeed a wonderful celebration of his life here on earth.

Persistent
Persistent is my word for this year!
Persistent- persisting, especially in spite of opposition, obstacles, discouragement, etc.; persevering. Lasting or enduring tenaciously.
I pray with the Lord's help I will be more persistent this year and forever actually.
I want to be persistent in my Bible reading, praying for others, praying for myself to grow spiritually, praying for revival in our church family, praying for people to come to know the Lord as their Savior, making healthy eating choices, exercise, being a Godly wife and mom, and in my own studies.
Now, I may not be very persistent with this blog, but I will try:)
