Around here

Wow, 2 weeks since my last update.  I think that's the longest I've ever gone without blogging except while on vacation.

As I've said before, there's not always a lot to update in the winter, but it's actually been a pretty busy winter with lots of snow and really freezing cold temperatures.

I am Loving my AdvoCare products and how wonderful they have helped me feel.  Craig has 6 days left on the challenge and has already lost 10 lbs.  I'm so thankful he's joining the journey to better health with me.  I'm also loving selling AdvoCare.  It's easy, because the products speak for themselves.  They're just GrEaT!!!!

We had church on Valentine's Day, which was a Saturday because there was a big snow storm coming in that night through the entire day on Sunday.  A man brought me roses and told me he wanted to bring them to me to show his appreciation for how much Craig has helped him.  I appreciated it so much.  My husband is the best!

The snow banks around here are massive.  It's actually dangerous, because you have to pull out so far to see if cars are coming.  I'm ready to see grass, and I hope we don't get anymore snow this year.

The snow bank right outside our door that goes as high as our deck!!  Pictures absolutely do not do justice to the amount of snow around here.

Abby is really loving playing basketball and she gets better every week.  Craig does a great job coaching them.  Kyndal has declared she wants to play next year too.

They are both doing good with gymnastics and really loving it.  Anna Claire told me the other day she wants to do ballet, so we will sign her up for that next year.  The girl dances around the house all.the.time!  It's really cute.

Anytime AC hurts herself, which is often, and I ask her if she will be okay, she says NO.  Hahaha

The girls still love to play out in the snow, but it's been way too cold to play outside.  The snow will be around for a couple more months, so when it warms up, they can play.

However, anytime Craig is working outside, they take the opportunity to play.

I've helped do some shoveling at the church and cleaned off our deck one day, which was mostly ice, and let me just tell you, that is some HARD work.  I'm so glad our driveway gets done for us.

All 3 girls are doing well in school, we are doing an extra day a week, to get ahead and be done with school for when we have some nice weather to get out in.

We've made our summer vacation plans and we are SO excited.  Let me be clear:  we make our plans, the Lord directs our steps.

Last Friday night, Craig and I went out for a movie.  I wanted to see American Sniper, but we left before 10 minutes into the movie, because Oh My Goodness at the Horrible, Awful language.  I will just try reading the book, unless they use the same awful language.  So we went to the bookstore instead and got us a book.  The Daniel Plan by Rick Warren.  We are beginning the Daniel Plan next Wednesday.  We want to honor the Lord in every area of life, and I would say we have lacked in the arena of food and what we put into our bodies, so we are making some changes and are very excited about it.

I had my very first AdvoCare Mixer Monday night.  I tried to get as prepared as possible, by studying up on products and video's and praying.  They advise you to do your first mixer with your mentor, but my mentor lives 1200 miles away, so that wasn't possible.  I was on my own.  A couple of people said they would have never guessed it was my first one, so I would say it was a success.  I didn't get tripped up any, so that was nice.  I'm thankful.  I made a few sales, so I was happy:)  And very happy for the people who are using the products, because like I said before, they are great!

Oh, and Craig and I are having another date night this Friday.  Looking forward to it!  We have a fellowship dinner with our leadership team on Saturday afternoon after Abby's basketball game.  We are also having a chili cook off at church on Sunday evening.  It will be a busy, fun weekend.

My very sweet, special, Godly, loving, caring, compassionate, cute as can be, praying Grandmother turns 80 on Sunday.  Grandmother, though we can't be there in person to celebrate you, we are there in spirit and wish you the Happiest Birthday ever, and many many more to come.  We love you and Pa SO much!

Snow, snow, and more snow

HA, it's been a SUPER snowy February.

The girls love to play in the snow, and their momma doesn't, so they play on the deck and all is well in our world, for the moment anyways:)

Had to push the snow back as they opened the door!

Sweet thangs!

She only opened the door about 10 times to tell me something:)

They were trying to make a fort.  They had fun:)

Results

I mentioned before that my sister also lost 6 lbs on the 24 day challenge and she continues to take products to help her meet her goals.  She looks great and feels great.  AdvoCare products really work, but don't just take my word for it, try it for yourself.

Again, they have more than just a trim line.  They have a well line, an energy line, a performance elite line, and a skin care line.  You can also make an extra income yourself selling AdvoCare and it sells itself, because of the results it gives.  Go here to see all they offer and/or leave me a message with any questions!

Doesn't she look great!?!?!

Around here

Well let's see, we have almost 4 feet of snow on the ground, with at least 10 feet high snow banks.  We are due for another foot of snow beginning tomorrow through Monday night.  I think I've seen enough snow to last me a lifetime!!!  While it's pretty, I've seen enough:)

Abby has another basketball game tomorrow morning, weather permitting.

We of course do a lot of just hanging out inside because the temperature is very low and it's just too cold to be out for any length of time.  We were suppose to go snow sledding last Saturday with some friends, but the temperature was in the single digits, and it was very windy which made the wind chill in the negatives, so we didn't go:)

Kyndal however, was getting cabin fever one day this week, and I certainly didn't want to go outside, so she played on the deck for at least an hour.  Then she came in for a hot shower, because her feet were cold.  Don't let the deck fool you on how much snow we have, we (well I actually haven't helped this year) keep it cleaned off!!

Craig and Anna Claire have had colds this week.  Anna Claire seems to be on the mend with just a runny nose now.  Craig still feels not so great, but getting a little better each day.  I'm sure getting sweaty out in the cold snow shoveling did a number on him.  I caught a picture of them sleeping on the couch together the other day when they were both feeling bad and it's so cute, but I don't think he would appreciate me putting it on here, so I'm not!

I've been trying to make some new healthy recipes.  I found one somewhere, either pinterest or facebook the other day and tried it.  It was so good, we had it twice in a week.  The girls loved it too, which was nice!

Turkey stuffed peppers with a side of black eye peas.  The second time we had it, I added some roasted baby carrots.  Yummy!

All 3 girls are doing really well in school.  We are 2 days away from being at lesson 100, so we only have 69 more lessons to go after that:)  Who's counting, right?!?!

AdvoCare (the rest of my story)

I started the AdvoCare 24 day challenge on January 7th.  My first time using AdvoCare products.  I'm sold!!!! Very impressed!!!  Will continue to use their products.  As a matter of fact I already purchased what I needed for the next 3 months.  I'm selling it too, so if you want to try it yourself or know someone who does, send them my way.  You won't be disappointed.  As a matter of a fact, I'm very excited that my husband is starting the 24 day challenge on Monday.  Very excited to see his results and most of all, how great "I know" he will feel!

I ended up loosing 6 pounds and 5.5 inches.  I'm happy with that, and will continue to lose, build muscle, and become more healthy with more energy.

There was a couple of days in the middle of the challenge where I didn't take any of the vitamins or drink and I was completely exhausted.  The products really work:)  They've helped to change so many people's lives.

My sister did the challenge with me and she too, lost 6 pounds, but didn't measure before!  Get started today at www.advofan.com

My 3 month supply!  Eeeeek, I'm excited!:)

Basketball

Abby decided she wanted to play basketball this year.  She is playing where they played soccer, at one of the local churches.  She had her 2nd game this past Saturday and they won.  I think it's more of a "just have fun" program rather than really learning the game and such.  Abby seems to enjoy it.  Craig is the assistant coach, and he practices with Abby some during the week.

She's in the green shirt and white pants!

Her fans!

Blizzard '15

Last Tuesday we had a blizzard.  They were saying we could get up to 3 feet.  We ended up getting at least 30 inches.  It snowed the entire day, much of it very heavy.  It was very windy and cold of course.  Lots of places closed, because it was rather dangerous.  Thankfully it was a fluffy snow and very few people lost power.

I did my regular grocery shopping on Monday and went earlier than usual to try and beat the crowd.  HA, the joke was on me, because everyone in NH was there.  To say it was INSANE is an understatement.  We did get everything we needed though:)

The snow drifts were crazy.  In one spot you could see spots of grass, and others the snow was over 3 feet high.

Craig went for a 3 mile walk and took the camera with him.  Then he helped people shovel out their driveways and walkways.  He loves to be out in the snow.

Just one of the Many plows out!

See that snow bank??? Crazy!
