Froyo for sweet girls

The girls are growing up fast and time passes by quickly.  They of course have their flaws and such.  They like to argue and aggravate each other, but they really are very well behaved and sweet girls.  We are very proud to have each one as our daughter.

They have really adapted well to our new healthy eating habits which we are very grateful for and Abby is really seeing the importance of what we put into our bodies and taking it seriously for the most part.  But let's face it, everyone likes a little froyo once in a while.  We took them out the other night for a special treat and they loved it of course.

Love these precious girls BIG:):):)

Destiny Rescue 5K

Yesterday we had our first 5K of the year.  Craig is running with me this year and it's so much fun.  We ran for a wonderful ministry yesterday that rescues children from human trafficking.  It was their first race and so well done.  It was a trail run, which those are not the easiest, but it was lots of fun.  Oh and it was freeeeeeezing.  Like 30 degrees with a real feel of 27.  I finally started to warm up around 1.5 miles.  Craig finished at 27:46 and I finished at 31:05.

Before the race

With our friend Kathy

Abby was in charge of the camera, so as I scrolled through and saw this one, I LOL:)

A sister selfie!!!  They hung out in the car until they saw people finishing the race.

Craig finishing up

Ah, the finish line!

And, we're done!!!!

Can't wait for the next one:)

Just pure cuteness

I went in to check on the girls the other night before I went to bed.  I found Anna Claire with 3 baby dolls.  One on each side of her and one in her arms.  It was the Sweetest thing ever.  Of course, it took me 10 minutes to get a picture, because my darn camera wasn't cooperating.  There's nothing much sweeter than watching your children sleep.

She's even holding the baby's hand:)  Precious!

Nice weather

We are finally having some nice weather around here and I COULD NOT be happier about it.  The sun has been shining, and temps have been rising, a little anyways.  After hitting below zero too many days this winter, a high of 60 feels marvelous!  We have had several runs outside, a couple of bike rides, and many days on the deck just soaking it all in.  As a matter of fact, I have already burned myself pretty good.

We run our first 5K of the year next Saturday, and we are excited.  It's for a really great ministry called Destiny Rescue.  They rescue children from human trafficking and help restore them to go out into the world.  And of course share Jesus with them.  We are looking forward to it!

First bike ride of the year:)
and
First picnic on the deck, of the year!!!
(all worthy of documenting)

Easter '15

We had a really good Easter.  We had services all week for Holy week.  It was wonderful.  Sunday began bright and early with a sunrise service, followed by breakfast, Sunday school, and Worship service.  Then we went to friends house for lunch and another friends house for dinner.

This sits in our Sanctuary and I love it!

I took Abby and Anna Claire to an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday

Unfortunately, Kyndal was not feeling well

We dyed 57 eggs!!!  Kyndal only did about 2, bless her heart

:):)

Abby and Anna Claire made Resurrection rolls

Thankfully, this sweet girl felt much better after a good nights sleep!

She's almost as tall as me and she is wearing my shoes!

Too cute!

Getting a family picture is almost impossible when Dad/Hubby is the pastor, so needless to say, we didn't get one!  We had a wonderful day celebrating our Risen Savior!

AdvoCare Success

I began my journey to better health on January 7th of this year.  It included using the excellent products that AdvoCare has.  I could not be more happy with my results on weight loss, energy gain, muscle gain, and just over all better health.

I have worked hard in the gym too, which I love.  I use to dread even thinking about exercising.  I've never been a morning person either.  However, I get up at 5:40 every morning (except Saturday usually), read the Word, Pray, and go to the gym for an hour and half.  I love that time every day:)  Oh and it's a huge blessing to come home to a delicious and healthy breakfast on the table cooked by my wonderful hubby and enjoy it with my family around the table.

I love that Craig has joined me on this journey to better health, and supports me in my endeavor to share, sell, and help others through AdvoCare.  I love that we are teaching our girls how to make healthy and good decisions while they are young.  Only wish we would have started much sooner!

So if you are interested in learning more about the excellent products that AdvoCare offers or how you could too share, sell, and help others, email me at girlymomma.little@gmail.com or check out my website at www.advofan.com.

Thanking the Lord for these results:)

Pray

I saw this on facebook and I really loved what was written above it!

Kay Arthur posted it and wrote:  Pray for your Pastor like you never have before!  Pastors all around the world are ministering to people in the middle of crisis and at the same time trying to prepare messages for their congregations.  Ministry is draining physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

These words could not be more true.

I appreciate my Pastor greatly and pray for him daily, multiple times:)

Our girls

This precious child here is SO funny!  Seriously, she keeps us laughing.  She still says several things "incorrectly", and it is the cutest thing ever.  I don't normally correct her, just because I know she will figure it all out too soon.  She is our last baby (at least I think so anyways) and I love to hear her sweet "baby" voice.

The other day, she had some skin on her thumb that was annoying her and she wanted us to get it off or put a band aid on it.  We told her to just leave it alone.  Craig said, stop sucking your thumb too, which she normally only does that now at bedtime.  He asked her if she has ever sucked her other thumb and she said, yes I tried it, but it doesn't taste good.  We all started busting out laughing.  Craig asked her what did the other one taste like and she said chocolate.  I'm lol just typing this.  The girl is hysterical:)

Fast forward a couple of days and as I was getting her out of the bath tub, I noticed her big toe was peeling pretty bad.  I said I wonder why your toe is peeling so much.  She got this curious look on her face and said, I don't know, because I don't suck it!!!!!!  Yes, I again lol:)

Abby, Kyndal, and Chevy sang at church this past Sunday night, which started off our Holy Week services.  They did a really great job.  I did get to video it on my phone which I put on facebook for my family to be able to see.  While, it wasn't done for show, but to sing praises to our Lord, I do like for my family to be able to see things the girls do as much as possible since we live so far from them.  I also believe you can never have too many videos or pictures of your kids:)
