Santa Daddy

made a trip to the North Pole and brought back.......

a trampoline!!!!!!!!!!

This is how she spent much of her day, although she did get to play on it too, for about an hour.

They love it.  They played outside on it from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm today with the exception of lunch and cleaning up the van.  I'm sure with time it will get old, but I think we got our money's worth today!

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!!

Mary, did you know?

Wednesday night in service, Craig did a sermon on Mary.  The girls were in the service and sat up front by themselves because I had to wait on the nursery worker to get there, so I came in late and sat in the back.  Yesterday morning we were talking about the service and here's the convo....

Craig:  What was the Bible Study on?
Kyndal:  Mary
Craig:  What about Mary?
Abby:  She exercised great Faith in God.
Craig:  Absolutely, you were listening.
Abby:  Does that mean she read her Bible while walking on the treadmill?  (That made me smile)
Craig:  No (and he explained what it meant).

Encouraged that they listen and ask questions when they don't fully understand.  What an awesome example of truly walking with the Lord, Mary and Joseph both gave.

Yesterday while Craig and a friend put the girls "big" gift together and AC took a nap, I took the girls to Subway (their favorite) and to get manicures.  However, we went to both nail salons here in town and they both had over an hour wait, so we went to Wal Mart and they both picked out 2 colors and we came back home and I gave them manicures (hand massage and all)!!!

She was saying "cheese" so I took her picture too!

Fun time with Friends

Tuesday we had a play date with Gracie and Hannah at their house.  They live on a farm so they have lots of land and a wrap around porch that the girls enjoyed alot.  They made some crafts, decorated cupcakes, ate some lunch, played in the sand, played on the swing set, and rode on toys until their hearts were content (or they were all banged up)!!!  Poor Kyndal ran into the swing and scrapped one knee up, later she fell and scrapped the other knee up, and before we left she fell on the scooter and the handle got her right in the face.  After that, and AC was starting to get restless, I said lets go.  They had a really good time and AC was out before we got off of their street (or dirt road rather).

Last night while I was in the shower, Craig came in and said...
Craig:  Something happened to AC
Me: What
Craig: I don't know
I look out of the shower to see a really big knot right on her eye, so I said...
Me:  That's good that their is a knot, and he went out.

When I got out, her knot had gotten bigger, but it was about 6:30, so at least she had a while before bed, and by the time she went to bed it had gone down a little.  Abby said she was playing with the guitar.  She likes to stand on it, so that's probably what she was doing and fell.  It looks much better now.  So AC has a bruise on her eye and Kyndal has one on her cheek.

Weekend Recap

Aunt Eron and Marley came to town on Friday afternoon for a weekend visit and to give Craig and I the opportunity to have a date night and do Christmas shopping.  We had been looking forward to the weekend for quite a few days.

I got a sweet surprise to start of our date night....

We made a visit to a sweet lady from church who had just come home from surgery.  Wow it's been a long time since I was able to make a visit with just he and I.  It was nice.  We went to Columbus to do all our Christmas shopping, so since we only had one night to do it all, and because I'm a major planner, I had my list ready to go!!!!  We got everything we went for and had a wonderful dinner at a new place, Fugi Japanese Steak House.  It was sooooo good.  We actually still made it home by 8:30 too.  Then I stayed up until 1:30 am wrapping all of the presents.

Saturday we took the kids to play at the park and we did some cookie baking.  Oh and the girls played in the back yard for about 2 hours in. the. mud.  I thought Eron was going to croak at Marley playing in the mud.  They went straight to the shower after that.  Craig and I went to a very sweet wedding here in town while my sweet sister kept all of the kids again.  Very very thankful for her help over the weekend.  She even gave all 4 girls a bath on Fri. and Sat.  I did that job on Sun. to give her a break!!!  On Friday night it took the girls about an hour to fall asleep (including AC), but on Sat. and Sun. they were out before their heads hit the pillows.

We went to lunch on Monday and let the girls play on the playground there for a while before Aunt Eron and Marley had to make their way back home.    We had a really great weekend and are looking forward to spending more time with family during Christmas.

Here are lots of random pictures from throughout the weekend (some taken by me, some by Eron, and some by children)...

Random

Tuesday night we had another Christmas gathering with our home school group.  The high schoolers had a play and we really enjoyed it.

Enjoying a mini cupcake!
She enjoyed hers too!!!

When we got home, they were just playing for a bit before bed and I saw AC walk down the hall like this...
I thought it was too cute that she had that (Bible bag) hanging on her arm like a purse!

A few things Anna Claire has been doing that I want to remember...
  • When I go into the restroom, of course she comes too and pulls the stool out and then backs up until she feels it and sits down, it's just too cute.
  • Kyndal and I do phonics in the living room so that we don't disturb Abby and AC usually joins us and gets a book and sits down like she is reading too.
  • When we are done saying the blessing and say Amen, AC then lifts both hands in the air and shouts, "Men".
  • They usually all go to bed at the same time, but I lay AC down first and then go and kiss A & K goodnight.  AC stands back up at the end of her bed puckered up for me to kiss her again, then lays back down.
  • The other morning I told A & K to get ready for school to begin while I was talking to Craig and when I went into the classroom, they had AC in her highchair pulled up to their school table and said she is going to do school with us.  She was no longer impressed with the set up once I came in, she wanted out!

We are offically on Christmas break and are so excited.  We have a fun weekend planned and I am looking forward to it!

10 Years

10 years ago today I was getting ready and taking pictures with family and friends before our wedding was to begin in 4 hours.  I was so excited.  I felt a little nervous, just about walking out and being in front of so many people, but it was all good.

Being married takes commitment and hard work just about on a daily basis.  We have come so far in 10 years, the Lord has worked on us both so much and we are eternally grateful.  Our pray is that He will always work on us until the day we live with Him in Glory.

I am very blessed to have the husband I do.  I am very thankful for him and look forward to so many more years with him as we learn and grow along the way.  Love you tons Craigy!

Long drive

So Saturday I rode with mom to Folkston, GA which is 4 hours from here.  We left at 7:30, and got there in time to get some lunch and we were still about 20 minutes early, so we did good.  We were there for about 45 minutes to an hour and then made our way back to Eufaula.  We arrived back around 6:30.  Makes for a really long day, but we had a good time.  I get a little nervous about long road trips and mom drives a very small Mazda Miata (which makes me nervous too).  On the way back a UPS 18 wheeler tried delivering us to Jesus, but Jesus said not your time just yet.  He ran us right off the road, b/c he didn't see us.  I had been praying for the Lord's protection on that trip and the first thing mom and I said was thank you Jesus.  Our hearts were beating fast, but we were thankful for sure.

Craig kept the 3 girlie's all day while we were gone and I called him one time and they were playing dress up....
Abby and that face (cracks me up)!!

Sunday was a great day as well..

As I've mentioned before taking a pic of all 3 of them is not an easy task.  A & K are usually trying to keep AC still, while AC is screaming and trying to jerk away from them, so I just take what I can get, it's nothing to sweat over.  One day they will all stand still and smile ( I hope)!!!

Making Memories

Earlier last week, my mom called me and asked if she could come to town on Friday afternoon, and would I ride with her to Folkston, GA on Sat. for her uncles funeral, and she would go home on Sunday morning.  Of course I said yes and so the girls knew I was going to be gone all day on Sat. but they didn't know with whom.  They were trying to guess, but I wanted them to be surprised with grandmother's visit.  When mom pulled up I was in another room and the girls said mom, grandmother is here, in a loud excited voice.  They took off outside...

Someone gave us a big bag of pecans, so we headed to the store and bought stuff to make cinnamon pecans and chocolate rice krispies.  Mom and the girls made everything and they were in hog heaven....

I was cooking dinner and washing dishes too so there was lots going on in that kitchen!  Anna Claire was just entertaining herself...
She says pi pi (pee pie), too cute for words!!!

After the girls took a bath, we went and looked at Christmas lights.  It was a really fun day!

Gingerbread Train

We found a gingerbread train to make at the store and I knew the girls would love doing it.  Friday after class, we got to work on it.  I just put it together and they did all the decorating and loved every minute of it.
They had lots of fun doing this project!!

18 months

Anna Claire turned 18 months yesterday.  Time does go by quickly.  She had her 18 month check up today, and only got one shot and a good report, so that was good.  She weighs 22 lbs which is in the 20th percentile, she is 31.8 in long, which is 55th percentile.  She is still a bit small, but her doctor was pleased.

Aunt Rikki wanted to spend quality time with Abby and Kyndal so she kept them while Craig and I took AC to the doctor.  We made a stop at Hobby Lobby (O I love that store), and Zaxby's for some lunch.  The older girls had an absolute blast spending the day with Rikki.  As a matter of fact, one of the girls texted me from Rikki's phone and said Hey. Mommy.  I said hey we will see you in 3 minutes.  When Rikki told them what it said, they said awwww why so soon, do you have to leave now.  Wow, thanks for the love girls!!!!!

Trying to get pics of AC is very difficult these days, she is like a moving target....
