Snow day fun

It snowed ALL day this past Saturday.  They don't keep the roads quite as plowed as they do on the weekdays, so it was pretty messy out.  Craig had a couple of meetings and when he got home, he took the girls out to play for a couple of hours.  Anna Claire only lasted about 1 hour, and she enjoyed it.  I think Craig and the big girls could stay out for quiet a while.  I just assume watch from the indoors:)  The temperature was about 34, so it wasn't freezing cold.  It was a little more tolerable than it has been recently.  This has been our coldest winter here.  And boy, when it's windy, omgoodness.....

Building a snowman

I was very impressed by their snowman

Notice Abby gave the snowman bunny ears????  Silly girl!

Having a blast...

Something about it snowing, being snow covered, no cars driving by at night is the most peaceful thing ever.  So beautiful:)

I'm not a huge fan of the snow, and definitely not the frigid temps, but I just can't get over how beautiful and peaceful it is...to see from the inside of our warm home, that is!  Thankful:)

Girly girls

I would say all 3 of our girls are pretty girly.  Abby definitely likes more relaxing type clothes.  Kyndal is very much so the fashionista.  Anna Claire wants to wear a dress or leggings with her boots every. single. day!  They all love for their hair to be fixed with curls, braids, bows, ribbons, and such.  Abby does wear a ponytail more than the others.  They all 3 like for their hair to be long.

Last weekend we had our friend Chevy with us and on Sunday morning I caught all 4 of them in the bathroom getting ready.  It made me LOL.  I ran and got my camera because it was definitely a kodak moment.  Love these girls BIG.  So happy to have 3 precious girls!

Kyndal saw me with the camera and hid.  Little stinker!

Lots of pretty in one small room:)

My AdvoCare Experience (thus far)

So I started the AdvoCare 24 day challenge on January 7th.  It's my first experience with AdvoCare and though I'm not finished yet, I've had excellent results.  I've lost 5 pounds and 3 inches after 11 days.  I've not measured again since then.  I have about a week left before the end.  I will do my after pictures and measuring then.  The average weight loss is 10 pounds, and 9 inches.  It obviously depends on your body and what you are looking to accomplish.
I have felt better than ever, which is what matters most.  I have more energy for my workouts, more energy to get things done around the house, more energy to keep up with 3 kiddos, just more energy in general.  The weight loss is just a big plus for me.

I don't usually get into things like this, but I'm SO glad I gave this a shot, because it's awesome.  They have so many different products to choose from.  They have a trim line, well line, energy line, performance elite line, and a skin care line.

I'm very happy with my results and will definitely continue to use the products.  I HIGHLY encourage you to get your 24 day challenge today and see how great you feel, then share it with others.  It will not disappoint.  Go HERE , check out the products, and get yours today.

First skate of the year

It's been a while since I've blogged.  Around here in the winter, there's not really much to blog about.  It's freezing cold outside, and the ground is usually covered with snow, so we basically stay inside to stay warm!!!

Last Friday, we took the girls ice skating.  It was Anna Claire's first time to ever ice skate.  She had a blast.  It was really cold and became very windy while they were skating and as soon as we left it became super windy and there was a snow squall.  Needless to say, we left just in time!  I didn't skate as I was still wearing my workout clothes and I don't have snow pants.  I did help the girls get their skates on which seemed to take forever.  They all had a great time!

The pond was actually covered with snow, but the ice hockey folks cleared off a nice big spot and they were not out there playing at the time.  One guy did show up to practice but they all just shared the space!!

Waiting on Daddy!

They were great with helping Anna Claire, but of course she did better and was more comfortable with her Daddy!

Too funny!  Perfect picture timing:)

Sweetness:)

Weekend Recap

Friday was a long and exhausting day.  I did lots of cooking, the girls did school, Craig had several meetings.  That night, Craig and I went to hear a friend's testimony while the girls went to a friends house.  It was a snowy night.  We had a good time, but missed the testimony because we had to go get the girls (it was late).

Saturday we had the staff, leadership, and their families over for lunch to show our appreciation for them.  We planned it before Christmas, but it was when Craig went to AL to be with his dad.  It was a really nice day and everyone said the food was good.  I wouldn't know:(  I'm doing a cleanse so I didn't partake in any of the food.  Ha!  That night, we just relaxed.

Sunday I hear it was a great service, no surprise there, but I had nursery!  Afterwards the youth group had a luncheon to raise money for their mission trip.  I also watched during that meal, while I sipped on my shake!!  Then the girls had dance for the ministry they are involved in.  We chilled after that, which was so nice.

Back to our regular schedules today.  We are hosting a friend for the Championship game tonight.

No pictures for this post:(

Speaking of Craig's dad, he still needs lots of prayers for healing.

We have a new niece due today, but she hasn't arrived yet:)

Hope everyone has a happy week!!!

First Family Concert

We went to our first family concert last night with a friend to see the Andy Needham Band<.  It was a really good concert.  The group really focused on worshiping our Lord.  It was a breath of fresh air.  We certainly enjoyed our time!

The girls said they had a good time.  However, Anna Claire said it lasted a little too long!  Ha, it was only about an hour and a half, but to a 4 year old that didn't have a nap that day, I can understand her thoughts.:)

Back to routine

We've been out of school for 2 weeks and it's been nice.  We start back to school tomorrow.  I'm kind of glad to be back to our routine.  The girls say they are not ready to go back to school, but they better get ready:)

Anna Claire only does 3 days of school now.  I'm going to do 4K with her again next year, because I want her to be older when she graduates!  That's why we started doing 3 days instead of 5.

The big girls are doing really well and are making A's and B's.  Anna Claire is doing well too and catching on quickly.

Gymnastics is back to it's regular schedule, which will be nice.  We've been doing make up classes which tends to be more crowded.

Abby starts basketball next Saturday.  I think Craig is going to coach or at least help coach.

We usually have a family from church over for dinner every Thursday, but we didn't do it for the month of December since it's busy.  We will start that back next week too.  We are only doing every other week now though.

I'm starting something new this week too:)  You will find out what in a few weeks:):)

New Year Fun

Wednesday, I took the girls to have their nails done (one of their Christmas gifts).  They loved it of course.  Then we did a little shopping.

That evening, Craig and I went to dinner at Olive Garden with some friends.  I wanted to get a picture and totally forgot.  Then we headed to some other friends house for games.  After being there about an hour, I got a text that Kyndal had a headache.  I carry their medicine in my purse:.  I told her to take a shower and drink some water.  Not the shower water:):)hehe  I got another text about 30 minutes later that she was sick to her stomach, very upset, and wanted me.  So we headed home, and when we got there, she had just fallen asleep.  While I was glad she finally calmed down and was well enough to fall asleep, I hated that I didn't get to her before she did.  She slept well all night and came to my bed the next morning telling me how awful she felt the night before.  She said, "mom I guess that's how you feel when you have a migraine, and it's terrible".  I've always hoped none of our girls would inherit the migraine gene.  Still hoping not!!!

On Thursday, we watched football and just hung out around the house.  I did have a good workout that morning, thankfully because I ate way too much that day!  That night we went to some friends house for the AL game.  It was a really late game, so the girls and I only stayed for a couple of hours, but I did finish watching the game which wasn't over till almost 1 am.  The Bama boys lost, but played well, and had a really great season.

Healthy

I think if I wanted to use a word to describe my goals for 2015, it would be healthy.

I want to be more healthy spiritually.  I plan to spend more time in the Word.  I plan to spend more time in prayer.  I plan to spend more time listening to the Lord.

I want to be more healthy physically (as much as is up to me).  I plan to make healthy eating choices.  I plan to continue with a good exercise routine.

I want to be more healthy emotionally.  I plan to seek the Lord more when I'm feeling weak.  I plan to be a better wife and mother with the Lord's help.

I want to be better with my time.  The days go by fast, but it's up to me as to how I spend the minutes and hours of each day, for the most part anyways.

I want to be wiser with how I speak and come across.  I want to have a better attitude and perspective in everyday life.

Basically, I just want to grow to be more like Christ and please Him each and every day.  Definitely not always easy, but very possible with His help:)

Hope everyone has a wonderful, growing, and blessed New Year!!!
