Hair bows

Anna Claire hasn't worn a hair bow in over a year.  I would put them in her hair when she was a baby, but she always took them out.  Then she started the lovely twisting and I had to give her a boy haircut.  She still twist and plays with her hair all the time.  However, when I fix Abby and Kyndal's hair, she wants me to do hers too.  I'm trying to convince her that if she will leave her hair alone and let it grow some more, I could fix it cute like her sisters.  I'm not sure she gets it or even cares, but I was able to get a hair bow in it, and she left it in all day.  I was shocked!

Entertainment

Last Saturday, Craig needed to take care of something at his office, so we all went with him.  The girls find things to do to entertain themselves while we are there.  They can be loud sometimes in the process, but nevertheless, they keep busy.  Craig had some music playing and the girls were dancing, it was so funny.

Abby fell off the chair, and didn't hurt herself, so I was cracking up!

They were having fun, but I didn't let them stand in the chair long since it's not very safe!

Cold

We have been getting lots of snow here.  Some days it will warm up in the high 40s and the sun will be shining so pretty and some of the snow will start to melt, but there is always snow on the ground.  It's a different world here, than in the South.  We are enjoying it, right now!!!  Ask me again in March when there is still snow on the ground, ha!

It really is so pretty when it's falling and the trees are covered with snow.

Beautiful

It was melting off the deck, which has been covered with snow for over a month now, and as the day went on and the temp started to drop, the water froze.  I thought it looked neat.

Racing

While I was cooking one night, the girls were racing through the kitchen and living room on Anna Claire's riding toy and baby stroller.  They were cracking me up, and it kept them entertained for about an hour while I got dinner done.

Yes, Abby and Kyndal are too big for those toys and Anna Claire is too big for that baby stroller, but they were having fun and not hurting anything or anyone, so I let them have at it!

Repeat

Just this past week, Anna Claire has really started talking so much more.  She is repeating just about everything she hears.  She heard someone say dude on a movie the other night and she turned to me and said dude.  It made me laugh.  I was sitting in a place on the couch and I got up to do something and when I came back, she was in my spot, and I asked her if she could move, and she said, "no my seat".  She keeps me laughing.  She says her name now and it's so cute so Abby and Kyndal ask her 7322 times a day what her name is, she gets irritated after number 4.  She says, "An na Tear".

Trying to get her picture is not always easy

She was twirling!

Right now

I am at my hubby's office blogging while he is at home teaching the girls.  What a sweet man he is.  I get to blog in the peace and quiet!  As I was leaving I heard him doing the pledge and praying with the girls and telling them about the freedom we get to experience in this country and how we need to pray for our president and other leaders of our country.  He and I were talking a couple of weeks ago about our country and such and he said you know I think if everyone would pray for our president instead of criticizing him, things could get better.  That really made me think.  We do criticize him a lot and talk about the bad decisions we think he makes, even about how he talks, looks, etc.  We worry about our kids who are still young and have to continue to grow up here with the way our country is headed.  I'm guilty of this as well.  But, when he brought that to my attention, I thought he is so right, if we would pray every time we even think something negative, which for some is a lot, I wonder how things could change.  We are called to respect authority, and no matter how much we may not like the decisions our president makes, we should still pray for him to be led by the Lord.

So I'm challenging myself to this; praying each day for our president, leaders, soldiers, and country.  Why don't you join me, if your not there already?

Have a wonderful Monday.  A day the Lord has made, so let's rejoice and be glad in it!

Little #1

Abby is a leader.  She loves to help out with Anna Claire all the time.  She loves to be with me in the kitchen and help out cooking.  She helps me out in lots of areas.  She works hard at school and does a good job.  She made all A's and B's last semester and is working hard to make all A's this semester and I believe she will do it.  She enjoys reading.  She works best when she is all alone in a room, she is very easily distracted.  She is a very sweet and good big sister to both girls.  They all have their non-lovely sister moments, but that's to be expected.  She is a Daddy's girl to the core.  She loves to sit and have him read her the Bible.  She is eager to learn.  She asks lots of questions seeking to understand.

Little #2

Kyndal is quiet, but yet can talk your ears off at times.  She likes doing things by herself but also likes someone to play with her at times.  She can play by herself for hours though.  She works really hard in school and is very well focused.  She made all A's last semester.  She gets done with her work fairly quickly and usually has very few, if any mistakes.  She does get bummed if she doesn't understand something the first time I explain it.  She loves to read!  She Loves to aggravate people, especially her daddy and and little sister.  She is a good helper and she does lots of cleaning and helping out, without me having to ask her.  She has a tender sweet heart and I'm so blessed to be her momma.

Little #3

Anna Claire is truly the funniest little kid.  She has so many faces that are just hilarious.  She keeps us on our toes.  She can be a sneaky little thing sometimes.  She loves to have books read to her.  She loves all of the Dr. Seuss books.  She got several for Christmas.  She loves to play with her sisters iPods.  She loves to face time with Num Num.  This may be crude for some, but she Loves to say doodoopoopoodoodoo.  I have no idea why or where she got it, but she loves it.  I think because she gets a laughing reaction from others, she continues to do it.  When she sees the snow which is anytime you are outside or look outside, she says "white no daddy".  When we drive by Applebee's she says, "Appie peese".  She is a very loving and affectionate child. She always says cheese when I get the camera out.  She loves to brush her teeth and take a bath.  She loves to eat chips, crackers, and snacks.  She has started emptying her plate when she is done and put it in the sink.  However if she doesn't want to eat something that she needs to eat, she will dump it and ask for a snack.  When she thinks she might be in trouble, she wants to kiss you!!!!  She is a riot and I'm so glad the Lord decided to bless us with her.

We are still potty training!  To be honest I haven't put in a ton of effort in this area until this past week.  She has been wearing panties and I set the stove timer for every 20 minutes.  When it beeps, I say Anna Claire, what does that mean.  She looks at me and tilts her head and says, tt.  When she is done, she says "pize momma".  If she goes accident free all day, she gets a prize so she asks every time she goes!

Trying on Daddy's shoes!

 She loves some sweets!

Routine

We got back into our routine this week of school, washing clothes, cooking, cleaning, you know all that fun stuff.  I like having a routine.  It makes the day feel so much smoother to me.  We have had a good first week back to school after having 2 weeks off.

Anna Claire was a bit whinny the first day back, but she may not have been digging being back in routine.

I got back in the gym after being out for almost 4 weeks.  Wow, I've got to get with it.

Happy New Year!!!

Package

We received a package on Monday that was full of Christmas gifts for the girls from Aunt Rikki and Papaw and Ganny.  The girls were thrilled when the Big box arrived.  We were doing school so they had to wait and stare at the box for a bit, but they got to open the gifts soon after.  Anna Claire was napping so she opened hers a bit later.

Nothing like a little Christmas after Christmas right?!?!?!  Thank ya'll:)
