Thursday, we had family day, as Craig tries to make that his off day.  It was a bit gloomy and rather cool that day, so we decided to drive down to Boston and have some lunch.  The girls wanted to go to Cheers again, so we did.  It's fun to see all the people and different sites down there.  It's very crowded, so I do not drive.  We had a good time:)

I'm reading a good book right now called Boundaries with Kids.  It really gives you a mindset of how you are shaping your kids future by how you deal with them now.  I'm enjoying it so far.

Just got me another health book that I will begin reading next.

I ran 3.2 miles (5K) yesterday for the first time and it felt great.

My first 5K race is next Thursday on the 4th, and I'm excited.

Craig and I got to go on a much needed date last night thanks to a wonderful friend.  We went to the mall and walked around, and then we went to dinner, then to the book store, then for yogurt.  It was so nice.

Our sweet Abby is going through a growth spurt I think, which makes her not always feel that great:(

We are going to the Manchester Fishercats game this Saturday with several folks from the church.  It's their faith and family night.  We are looking forward to that.

Our pastor (my hubby) has been teaching us a lot about praying the Scriptures lately.  Very inspiring.  So thankful to be able to sit under such a great preacher.

We met with another pastor couple last week here in NH, who also went to SEBC, so that was pretty cool.

It's suppose to rain for the next few days, which kinda stinks although I'm thankful for the rain.  When it's not raining too hard, it makes for great running weather, because it cools you off.

Last week a young guy hit our van as I was coming out of Wal-Mart.  I saw it happen, so I called the police.  The officer informed me that I should have gotten my NH license within 60 days of moving here.  So I finally went today to get my new license.  By my third trip there (with all the right information) I finally got it.
This post is about as wacky and out of order as ever.  That picture was suppose to be under where I talked about us going out, however this computer has a mind of it's own, and it's not doing anything I want it to do.  So this post is over now!

Picnic at the lake

We joined the Senior Saints Tuesday for their picnic at the lake.  Sean, Amanda, and Matthew came as well, which was nice so the kids could play.  The weather was great other than it being a little hot and humid.  There was a good breeze most of the time though.  We ate lunch, played games, and enjoyed the sweet fellowship for a few hours.

Cooling each other off:)

I felt like doing that myself, it was a bit hot!

Flipping on Dad:)

P.S. Google Reader is being done away with sometime next month, so you can follow me on!

Fun with friends

Last week the girls had a few friends come over for a few days.  They played on the deck, all over the house, went to the park, and enjoyed some frozen yogurt.

I had to take 6 kids with me to get a haircut one of those days (3 of those belong to me).  They were all so good.  Everyone commented on how well behaved they were, so we went for yogurt afterwards.  I was so happy and so thankful they were so good:)

Playing school on the deck!

Watching the Brady Bunch

The girls are enjoying their summer so far!!!

I roll Abby and Kyndal's hair often and Anna Claire is always asking me to do hers too.  Her hair is really starting to grow out a good bit. So after her shower the other night she ask me to roll hers and I gave it a shot.  It did really well, but after I ran an errand and came back she had taken it down.  It was up for a few hours and curled pretty good.  Now she wants me to do it all the time:)

And speaking of hair, I'm getting a much needed cut on Thursday!  YEAH:)

Being a mom can be overwhelming, yet very rewarding at the same time.  I wonder so much about having a good balance on teaching right from wrong, discipling when necessary, and being way to naggy at times too.  I think about these things a lot.  I only get this one chance at being their mom while they are little, I want to take it very serious and do a really good job.  I know I will fail at times, I know I have failed at times, but I hope they NEVER miss out on the fact that I have so much love for them.  We are blessed with 3 unique, loving, beautiful girls and I am ever so grateful for the opportunity to be their mommy.  I am also very thankful that the Lord has made it possible for me to be a SAHM since before Abby was born, and allowed me to homeschool them going on 3 years now.  I'm very thankful for a hard working, wonderful husband who is so supportive and encouraging:)  Love my family!

3 year old check up

Anna Claire had her 3 year old check up yesterday.  It was very short and sweet since we have a healthy, happy little girl.  I hope I never take that for granted, very thankful.

She is 28 lbs (25%)
She is 36 in (25%)

She has been our most petite little girl.  She is such a darn cutie.

She did cry hysterically a little when they weighed and measured her.  Other than that she did very well.

We decided to go to La Carreta for lunch, we haven't had Mexican in a while.

Got her while chewing her chip with a little dip on the side! (My face is very shiny)

Sweet Big sisters!

After lunch we went to see Craig and Anna Claire said "Me go to Doca (doctor)".

While we were riding in the car, I don't remember what we were talking about but she said "Momma you do gate (great) job".

The pet store

One day last week, we went to the local pet store to walk around and look.  The girls want a fish, but their momma doesn't want anything else to take care of right now:)  We did look at all the fish and birds.  It was Anna Claire's first time in a pet store and her expression and squeals at seeing  everything was soooo cute.  The big girls didn't want to venture into the open bird room, but AC went in with Craig for a minute.

Her hair had been in a pony tail earlier, that's the reason it's looking crazy here!

Minnie Mouse

Anna Claire got some money in the mail this week from her MeMe for her birthday, so I took her to Toys R Us to pick out what she wanted.  We walked all around the store twice so she could try to take it all in and decide what she wanted.  She is very much into all things Minnie Mouse right now.

She went to a Minnie Mouse table and chairs and we kept going to look around some more, but we ended up back at the table and chairs and she said "I want dis".  So that's what we got!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my Dad, love you:)

Happy Father's Day to my husband/father of our girls!!!  You are an extremely wonderful Daddy!  Couldn't have ever asked or dreamed of a better man to be the Father of my children.  You are a tremendous blessing to our family and we are grateful.

After church, we had some friends over for lunch, and I didn't take any pictures!

Tonight we went to our friend, Sarah's, dance recital and had a really good time.

This child (our first) is a TOTAL Daddy's girl:)

Kyndal is so good with her:)

Ahh, too cute for words:
