Randomness

This is my second week of Couch to 5K training.  I will say it's been lots of fun.  My walking friends decided to do it with me, thankfully.  I really didn't want to do it alone.  We go early in the mornings, which is nice to start of the day exercising.  Two other friends have decided to run the 5K with me and I'm super excited about that.  I'm really looking forward to it.

My new running shoes, which are very comfortable!

We have chosen and bought the girls curriculum for next year.  We are doing it a little different next year and I'm excited to see how it goes.  I'm also hoping to get them into a co-op class or two.

The girls are taking the SAT this week and I really hope they do good on it.  Very thankful for my sweet friend who is administering the test for them.

We had a picnic at the park with friends last week, which I'm sure is just one of the many we will have this season!

The weather here has been really nice lately.  There have been a few cool days, but for the most part it's been great.  I love to sit out on the deck and enjoy the sunshine.  I also love to sit out there and read during AC's nap time.  After all the snow and freezing temps, you really enjoy the heat and sunshine!!  The girls like to play out on the deck too.

I was able to put a little ponytail in Anna Claire's hair the other day and now she wants me to do it all the time.  She is such a little cutie.  It needs to grow more before I can actually get all of her hair up in it.

Photo bomb, by Abby!!!

We have had a good two weeks by in New England.  We had a really wonderful time spending time with our family back in Bama.  We are truly thankful for our wonderful church family who allowed us to be away for two weeks and who saw us off with so much love and prayers.  They also welcomed us back with much love.  We are blessed and grateful.:)

Weekend Recap

Friday evening we had our friends, Sean and Jenn and their kids, over for dinner and dessert.  The kids always have fun playing together.  The adults enjoy playing cards.  It was a pretty day and evening.  The kids played in the water on the deck and had a blast.

Saturday, we had a work day at church.  We had a big breakfast and a devotion to start it off, then lots of clean up inside and out.  We had some more planting to do outside and Abby, Kyndal, and Amanda had an absolute blast helping Mrs. Kathy dig in the dirt.  They were filthy but had so much fun and worked really hard.  Anna Claire played in the nursery with Matthew while Mrs. Jenn worked in their.  Then we spent the rest of the day relaxing for the most part.

Of course we had a great time on Sunday at church, and then fun with friends at the BBQ (previous post)!  It was a really good weekend!!!

Mother's Day BBQ

Some sweet friends invited us over to their house for a Bar-b-que along with several others after church today.  We had wonderful food, fellowship, and fun.

It's been a great day.  It's wonderful and tiring to be a Mother, but such a joy.  I'm very thankful for the privilege to be a mom to 3 beautiful, unique little girls.

I am also very thankful to have a wonderful Mother myself.

The guys playing!

Anna Claire loves Mr. Jimmy

The girls had lots of fun playing with Chevy

Enjoying a pudding pop!!!  (She looks so big to me in this pic)

Lauren is so sweet to play with the younger kiddos!  It became quite windy and cool but it sure didn't stop their fun!

Carnival

The day after we got back home, we noticed they had a carnival here in town, so we decided to take the girls.  We met some friends there and let the kids have at it.  They had lots of fun, and it's so fun to watch your children have fun.  It actually got pretty cold that night, but the weather has been nice here since.

Amanda, Abby, Kyndal, and Matthew on the Waaaacky Worm (at least according to Sean, that's how you pronounce it)!!Ha

The tilt a whirl, AC liked it for a little bit, but then she was ready to get off.  I was so hoping she didn't hurl before it stopped.  She didn't, thankfully:)

It was a great way to spend our first night back, with friends, having fun!!!

Back to Bama (Part 6)

Tuesday, we went back to Botanical Gardens as a family to walk around and look at all the prettiness.  Afterwards we went to lunch with MeMe and Aunt Laurie.  We went back to Great Gran and Pa's to pack and take showers.  Several sweet family members came over for pizza and to see us off.

Looking at the fish!

Love seeing their reflection.

New York City
It took us about 22 hours to get back home.  We ran into traffic and we missed an exit in NYC, so we ended up riding around down in the city.  It was quite neat.  We enjoyed our little stroll through the town.

Statue of Liberty (that's the closest we got)!!

Beautiful

We had an absolute wonderful trip back home to be with family.  So thankful that we were able to go and enjoy ourselves so much.

Back to Bama (Part 5)

So after the party Saturday, we met MeMe, Laurie, and Deric for dinner at Sumo's, then off to the Galleria for some shopping.  I didn't get any pictures:(  All three girls spent the night with them, so Craig and I went to the early service at Brookhill's Sunday morning.  We picked up the girls and headed to my mom's for a family home cooked lunch.

Eating yummy spaghetti

The lovely cooks (mom and Steve)

Silly girls

c.a.n.n.o.t believe how grown they are.  Some wonderful young adults here.
Dylan, Cassidy, Nick, and Katie

Olivia, Jessi, Justin, Abby, Anna Claire, Kyndal, and Marley

So glad we got to enjoy some time with these very special people!!!

On Sunday night, all three girls and Marley spent the night with my mom.  On Monday, GiGi, myself, and Eron and Mad man joined them for the day while Craig studied and then went to play some golf.  They were making stepping stones for a fire pit mom and Steve are making.  Messy!

GiGi and the kiddos

Anna Claire always wanted to ride in Grandmothers car too, so mom would ride her around the driveway!!!  She thought she was big stuff.

We took the girls to the park to play for a while

She loves to swing

Cooling off by putting their feet in the creek!

Aunt Rikki with the "little" kiddos
We went to Aunt K's Monday night for a good home cooked meal with all the family.  Fun times!
