Birthday Weekend

My birthday was Monday, and we pretty much celebrated all weekend, so it was very nice.  The weather was absolutely beautiful.  Saturday, Craig and I went for a 14 mile bike ride, cleaned our car, and went to dinner.  Our friends kept the girls for us and when we went to their house, Jenn had made a wonderful ice cream cake.

 Let me just say that working on machines in the gym is way easier than doing the real thing outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday some friends took us to lunch, then I went for a  walk/run with a couple of friends while Craig took the girls to shop for me:)  When I got home, Craig was baking a cake and the girls were decorating!  We had dinner and a yummy cake.  It was all very sweet!

Monday I went to the gym, then grocery shopped by myself while the big girls did school.  We went to lunch, and to the mall for me to shop with some money and gift cards I got, then we went for a ride/walk/run on the trail as a family!!!

Anna Claire couldn't make it too far before needing a break, so she and I turned around and headed back, so she could make it.  I just walked beside her.  She did a really good job.  When we got back close to the car, Craig and the girls caught up to us and Kyndal didn't want to stop, so I ran with her back down the trail and then home.  

It was a wonderful birthday celebrated with wonderful people.  I am blessed:)

Free Spirit

Thankfully, it seems as though spring has sprung in NH.  This weekend has been beautiful and even hit the low 70s.  It's wonderful.  We haven't been able to enjoy nice (well what I call nice anyways) weather since September!!!  It's very welcomed by me for sure:)

Anna Claire loves to talk and sing.  She is usually doing one of those constantly.  It's very cute most all the time.  She likes to play school and baby.  She really likes to play with Kyndal, but she does play by herself sometimes and talks to her self.  I love to sit and listen to her, especially when she doesn't know that's what I'm doing.  It's the cutest!  I didn't play well by myself as a kid, but Craig said he did!

She was singing and twirling on the deck the other day, so I went and got my camera:)

Ukulele's and a beautiful day

Abby and Kyndal are taking Ukulele lessons every Thursday and they are really enjoying it.  He is teaching them 3 chords on the Ukulele before teaching them on the guitar.  He said it's easier to learn that way.  They practice every day and are learning to play and sing Amazing Grace so they can do it at church.  Chevy is taking lessons too, so they were all playing and singing when she was here.  Then they took it outside:)  Saturday was such a beautiful day.  Very thankful for spring like weather and the beautiful sunshine!

DIY Project

We received new bunk beds a few years ago from some sweet friends from our previous church.  The girls love them.  They have been and are a blessing and we are grateful.  They came unpainted and we (not really including me though) finally painted them.  They turned out great.  Craig and the girls did a great job.






This was the only picture I could find that showed the beds previous to painting. Ha!!!  This was a few years ago!

I don't have any idea why this picture turned sideways.  

He is such a good Daddy!

She was cracking me up.  She followed him up and down the stairs to bring it all back up, saying I'm helping Daddy.  He is so patient too, I probably would have told her to go play:)

Lately

I've been a little bit of a slacker on blogging lately. I usually always take pics with my phone now instead of my camera. There isn't a lot to do here in the winter but stay inside and keep warm, so that's why I haven't blogged much.

Spring is coming...We have had a few warm days which have been awesome. Me and a friend finally got to go walking outside this weekend. It was cool and windy but so nice to be out.

Last week I got a mommy's day out. I spent a lot of that time in the library reading a great book and had my toes done too. I got my flip flops out two weeks ago, and I get Lots of weird looks and even some comments. It's spring, right?!?!

We still go to the library every week after co-op to get books, movies, music, and Anna Claire likes to play with the toys.

One night last week, Daddy took all four of his girls on a dinner date to Texas Roadhouse. Love that place and loved that I didn't have to cook as I had a bad headache all day. I did eat too much though:)

Friday the girls had the day off from school and we had a little friend over for the day. They all had lots of fun playing. They all play so well together.

There is only a tiny bit of snow left in our yard and I am so happy to see all the lovely green as we have only seen white for the last 4 1/2 month's. It's so nice to see people out walking, riding, and skate boarding too.

We had ladies night out at church tonight and it was lots of fun. A great time of fellowship. When I arrived home, our patio furniture was back on the deck and this made my heart so happy:)

A sweet family from church was getting rid of some bedroom furniture and asked if we wanted it. We told them yes and Kyndal got it. Its so nice and we are so appreciative. All 3 girls were sharing bunk beds which was fine, but this was a real blessing.

Maybe I won't be so long with doing the next post.......

Privacy

This morning while I was in the shower a certain little 3 year old knocked on the door asking to brush her "toofies". I told her she could and then there was another knock on the door to which the 3 year old opened the door to access the need and told her not yet and shut the door. She locked it too. She said, momma I locked the door so you can have some "pivacy". Thank you so much for that!!!! She proceeded to tell me she found some ponytail holders to match her outfit and that she needed some lipstick. Say what.... I don't wear makeup often so I really don't know where she came up with that. I said I don't think you do missy and she laughed. The girl keeps us in stitches:):):)
