11 Years

Today is mine and Craig's 11th Anniversary!!!

While marriage is not always easy, I believe the Lord uses some of the hardest times to teach you and grow you.  Some it takes learning the lesson the long and harder way, others not so much.  I won't say where I fall into that category!!

I believe the best is yet to come and I can't wait!  Thankful for the past 11 years and looking forward to as many more as the Lord has planned for us!!  Love you so much Craigy!

Gingerbread House

On Saturday Abby and Kyndal started making their gingerbread house while Anna Claire was napping.  When she woke up, she got in on the action and had a blast.  They really enjoy doing this every year.  It's fun to watch them and see the finished product!

Gingerbread house (2012)...

Abby got super silly and put icing on her face!

Flashback (2011):

Last year they did a gingerbread train...

Christmas Program at FBC

The girls had lots of fun participating in this Christmas Musical.  When it was over Sunday night, they said they wanted to do it again next year.  It was fun to watch them.

Abby sang a solo and did such a good job.  We were really proud of her!

Around here

It's been a busy couple of weeks between being sick, catching up on school, and doing extra work in school to get ahead for our 2 weeks off for the holidays.

This past Friday, Craig and I went to a Pastor and wives Christmas dinner and had a great time.  Some friends kept the girls and they even spent the night.  I got to sleep until 8 am on Saturday!!!  This was AC's first spend the night away from me and Craig.  The girls had  a really fun time and so did Craig and I.

Saturday, the girls made a gingerbread house and I did some grocery shopping and cooking.  It was a nice day.

Sunday, we had a good service at church, I had choir practice afterwards, and the girls had their first Christmas program that evening at another church.  It was so good.

Then a busy week of school.

We are having some friends over for dinner this Friday night, Craig and I are going to Boston for our anniversary on Sat. while a sweet lady keeps the girls for us.  He has planned the evening, so it will be a surprise for me, and I'm super excited.  Sunday, we have church, choir practice, and dinner with friends.  Then one more week of school before Christmas and visitors!!!!!  Busy, having fun, and making memories.

The weather channel says it's going to snow everyday next week beginning Sun with the exception of Tuesday.  This will be our first experience of lots of snow (if it actually snows that much).  Those precious weather folks don't always get it right.

A few Anna Claire funny's:
When someone is singing, she says "shush".
If something happens and she wants you to know about it but doesn't know how to put it into words, she will act it out for you and she's very expressive.  It's hilarious!
She loves for her Daddy to kiss her on top of her head.
She loves Christmas lights and gets so excited with even a porch light now!!! She says "light Daddy"!
She LOVES to be read to.

This was the best we got before leaving on Friday

Angel Abby in the Christmas Program

There were listening and practicing for the Christmas Program.  Although playing on Dad's laptop is one of their all time favorite things to do.  He usually doesn't bring it home, but when he does, they always want on it!

Sweet sisters!

What a week

Everyone was good on Sunday.  We had a good day at church.  It was a long day, with choir practice, and outreach, but it was good.

Monday was a different story.  Abby woke up feeling very bad and got sick to her stomach, and felt bad all day.  Tuesday I woke up feeling bad, got sick to my stomach and felt bad all day.  Wednesday, Anna Claire woke up, got sick to her stomach and felt bad all day.  Craig didn't feel so well either.  Kyndal never got sick and I'm still hoping she doesn't catch anything.

Wednesday night was really bad.  Me, Abby, and AC all had pretty high fevers and felt terrible.  Craig and Kyndal went to church and when they got home Craig was a huge help.  During the day those 2 days, Kyndal was such a great helper.  I was so thankful for both of their help, because I was feeling a bit helpless.

Thursday, AC was back to normal.  Abby and I had runny noses and headaches, but were feeling much better.  Hopefully all is getting back to normal again.  We have some fun weekend activities planned.

Merry Christmas to K Beth

From:  Grandmother and Pappy

Grandmother and Pappy sent Christmas money since we live so far away, it's just easier for me to shop for them.  However, Kyndal wanted to get her ears pierced with some of her money, so that's what she did!!!  She did a great job and she Loves them!

More snow

It snowed ALL day on Saturday.  The roads were covered when we woke up.  The grass, not so much.  The flakes were very tiny.  It was my first time to drive in the snow, so I was a bit nervous, but they had salted the streets, so it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  Our driveway was a little slick, but not bad.  The girls had a blast playing around in it.  Anna Claire is just completely fascinated with it.  She always wants you to go look out the window.

We spent several hours at the church that morning decorating and had a really good time helping and the fellowship with everyone.  The church looks so pretty.

Then the girls had play practice for a couple of hours at another church.  Then I had to grocery shop.  It was a great long day.

O, and Alabama won the game that night too.

We also had some little friends over for the evening, so the kids had lots of fun playing.
