Around here

It's been a busy couple of weeks between being sick, catching up on school, and doing extra work in school to get ahead for our 2 weeks off for the holidays.

This past Friday, Craig and I went to a Pastor and wives Christmas dinner and had a great time.  Some friends kept the girls and they even spent the night.  I got to sleep until 8 am on Saturday!!!  This was AC's first spend the night away from me and Craig.  The girls had  a really fun time and so did Craig and I.

Saturday, the girls made a gingerbread house and I did some grocery shopping and cooking.  It was a nice day.

Sunday, we had a good service at church, I had choir practice afterwards, and the girls had their first Christmas program that evening at another church.  It was so good.

Then a busy week of school.

We are having some friends over for dinner this Friday night, Craig and I are going to Boston for our anniversary on Sat. while a sweet lady keeps the girls for us.  He has planned the evening, so it will be a surprise for me, and I'm super excited.  Sunday, we have church, choir practice, and dinner with friends.  Then one more week of school before Christmas and visitors!!!!!  Busy, having fun, and making memories.

The weather channel says it's going to snow everyday next week beginning Sun with the exception of Tuesday.  This will be our first experience of lots of snow (if it actually snows that much).  Those precious weather folks don't always get it right.

A few Anna Claire funny's:
When someone is singing, she says "shush".
If something happens and she wants you to know about it but doesn't know how to put it into words, she will act it out for you and she's very expressive.  It's hilarious!
She loves for her Daddy to kiss her on top of her head.
She loves Christmas lights and gets so excited with even a porch light now!!! She says "light Daddy"!
She LOVES to be read to.

This was the best we got before leaving on Friday

There were listening and practicing for the Christmas Program.  Although playing on Dad's laptop is one of their all time favorite things to do.  He usually doesn't bring it home, but when he does, they always want on it!

Sweet sisters!
