As I type this, Anna Claire is taking a nap and Abby and Kyndal are at Blair's house playing. Can you hear the silence?!?!?!
Today 2 different sweet people brought us fresh squash, red potato's, green beans, and pears.
Love me some fresh veggies!
Been doing some reading.
Some playing on the computer.
Some beautiful artwork.
Watching AC learn how to feed herself and make a big ole mess in the process.
Eating some yummy ice cream.
I wanted to tackle teaching Anna Claire to feed herself with a spoon, potty training, and putting her in a toddler bed this summer. However, they may be a little much to accomplish at one time, but we are still going to work on it. I think I'm going to hold off a little longer on changing her crib to a toddler bed. She does go to the potty when she wakes up in the morning, after nap, before bath, and sometimes before bed. She uses it 9 times out of 10, so I'm not too worried about this area, but I'm not going hard core on it until we get back from our beach trip in a few weeks. She does well feeding herself too, but still needs some practice on putting the spoon in her mouth the right way.
Our sweet little Kyndal graduates from kindergarten this Thursday.
We have finished our GPS (adoption) classes. We got our certificates of completion. We still have to do one more home study and then it all has to be approved, which takes about 4 months or so. Through this process Craig and I at the moment are feeling like it may be better to let AC get a few more years on her where we can communicate good and bad touch and such things, for her safety. We will see though, we want the Lord to work it all out according to His will.
