To Our Girls

Abby, Kyndal, and Anna Claire, what an absolute joy it is to mother you.  You 3 are truly a wonderful gift from our Lord.  You are 3 precious souls who we pray for daily.  Pray that you will put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and surrender to Him daily.  Seek wisdom from Him for every decision you make.  Store up treasures in Heaven and not on this earth.  Follow Him and love Him with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Your Dad and I love you 3 more than you will ever know.  However, Jesus loves you wayyyy more than we do.  It's hard to comprehend, but trust me He does.  God is ALWAYS good, even in the hard, sad, tragic, and difficult times.  He is a God of grace, mercy, love, and forgiveness.  Never forget though, there are always consequences for the decisions you make, and some consequences you may not like, but learn from them and move on.  Seek to grow closer and walk more intimately with Jesus at all times in your life.  Always ask Him what you are suppose to learn from all situations you face.

Be humble, loving, forgiving, and kind to people.  Don't be judgemental or critical of others.  Show people the love of Christ through your love, spirit, and attitude.  Actions often speak much louder than words, so show Christ's love to others.

We had some sweet friends come by recently who needed to talk, and you girls were almost done eating your dinner at the table.  You saw that it was important and you all 3 went out on the deck to play once you were finished.  That made my heart happy, seeing the maturity and growth of your sweet spirits.  Often times showing the love of Christ means just listening and praying for others.

Again, I can't tell you enough how much we love you 3 and are extremely grateful to have you as our daughters.  Love you always and forever, your Mom:):):)

Weekend Recap

Friday, we had another day of fabulous weather so I sat on the deck for at least 3-4 hours.  After school, our sweet friend Chevy came over to spend the night.  A couple of the youth boys came over to watch a movie with Craig while the girls played upstairs and I went walking with a friend and then went and visited another friend for a little bit.

Saturday, I went for a 10 mile bike ride with a friend early in the morning, came home to breakfast on the table cooked by Craig and Abby.  Then we all went on another bike ride, but only about 3 miles, where Kyndal had a wreck, but she is okay.  Craig who carries Anna Claire on the back and Abby went further than us, so we headed back home.  When the othesr got home, Anna Claire came up pouting to me, and Abby came in and said they had a wreck too.  Craig went on an off trail where there was sand and his tire got caught or something like that and he flipped over the handle bars and of course the bike fell over where AC was in her seat on the back.  They were both okay too thank the Lord.  AC was of course scared, but okay.  She told her Daddy she didn't want to go off on that trail anymore!  Craig along with our Associate Pastor performed a wedding that afternoon for some friends, so we all got ready for that.  All 4 girls looked so cute and I didn't take a picture:(  After the wedding, our sweet friends kept the girls while we attended the reception.  We had a good time!

Sunday, we had a great service (as always) at church, then a meeting afterwards.  Went home to cook dinner for the fam, and food to take back to church for Ladies Fellowship.  Had a really great time at the fellowship too.

We had a really great weekend and I only took 1 picture:(

Love these sweet smiles:)

Weekend Recap

Friday night we had a friend over for dinner.

Saturday morning, bright and early, I went for a 2.5 mile walk with a good friend, came home to cook, went to a Memorial service, came home and did some more cooking, Craig and I went on a 14 mile bike ride, got cleaned up, did some more cooking, had some good friends over for the Bama game, and finally went to bed all worn out about 11 pm.  Whew, it was a long day, but it was a wonderful day and I had a wonderful time the entire day.

Sunday, we had a wonderful church service that included an absolutely wonderful sermon, then we had a friend over for lunch, then we went to some friends house for dinner.  We had a really great time.

Monday, Craig had some special plans with a friend, but due to the very rainy weather they couldn't go.  So we got a couple of friends and went to the mall and ran some errands, came home and the kids played for a while, while I grocery shopped kid free, thankfully because I think everyone else in NH had the same idea.  Then I just chilled for the evening while Craig joined a friend for a movie.

It was a busy weekend, but it was O so much fun:)

The friend's house we went to on Sunday night had 4 dogs, 3 of which were very small that Abby was terrified of, but she loved riding their horse:)

I was riding beside her this time and she said "Take my picture".

They had a seat on the Carousel that you could spin, so they wanted to do it after lunch.  I over heard Kyndal say I kinda feel like throw up.  I was like "O no".  Thankfully there were no accidents:)

Church Picnic

We had a church picnic Saturday at some friend's house on the lake.  The girls had a dance class that morning, so we got there about 11:15, and stayed until about 5:30.  It was an absolutely wonderful day in every way.  We had a blast.  We did the paddle boat.  The kids did that a lot.  They swam almost the whole time.  The adults had several games of volleyball, corn hole, horseshoes, and just great food and fellowship.  When we left, Abby said I wish we could have a church picnic every Saturday!!!  The weather was beautiful too:)

This was when we got home.  This kid was exhausted and filthy.  We were all very dirty, but we truly had so much fun:):):)

Camping Part 2

After doing some fun things Thursday, we went back to the camp later that afternoon so the girls could swim.  I honestly didn't know there was a pool there and also thought it was going to be too cool.  I was wrong about both.  When the girls packed, I told them they didn't need swim suits, but Kyndal had already packed hers and didn't take it back out.  So Kyndal swam in her swim suit, and Abby did in her clothes, and Anna Claire can take or leave a pool, so that wasn't an issue.

Then we went to the playground, wet and all, and got really dirty while having some super fun.  After dinner on the porch, we watched a family movie, and went to bed:)

The water was pretty darn cold, so she had to just go for it!

She was quite content just sticking her feet in:)

A good bowl of cereal on Friday morning:)

We tried going to find a place that was recommended, but we couldn't find it so we turned around and went to some Fall's and climbed a little.  All that climbing on rocks, especially with kids, makes this momma a nervous wreck.  It was beautiful though.  Then we went back to the ski lift, per kids request, and did some more hiking.  We went back to the camp and made sandwiches, and played outside for a few hours.  A great time was had by all:)

Camping Part 1

I've been camping one time in my life, many years ago.  We slept in a tent, had a camp fire, cooked our food over the fire, and so on.  That's when I fully discovered camping is NOT for me.  I don't like sleeping on the ground, outside, and walking a mile to the restroom.

Some sweet friends of ours have a camper, with a king size bed (that's my kind of camping) in the mountains and invited us to stay a few days.  We headed up early on Thursday, and came back home Friday evening.  We had prior engagements so we couldn't stay until Sat.  We had a really great time.  It was relaxing, quiet, and peaceful.

They left us with some places to go visit and things to go do.  We did several of the things on the list and just truly enjoyed the beauty of all of the mountains.

The Historic Mt Washington Hotel
I didn't get any pics of the inside, but it was beyond beautiful in there.  We had lunch in the restaurant downstairs and ate out on the veranda overlooking the beautiful mountains.

They had beautiful landscaping as well!

We went to Bretton Woods and rode the ski lift a couple of times, and climbed a trail.

 Daddy and Anna Claire

These pictures do NOT do justice to the absolute beauty of this, but it is simply amazing the beauty God has created for us to enjoy:)

That building with the red roof is the Mt Washington Hotel where we ate lunch!

We went to the cutest little town called Littleton, and they have a huge candy store there called, Chutters.  They have the longest counter of candy in the world.  It's 112 feet long.  The girls had a blast in there as you can see.  They had some awesome fudge too:)

Lots of fudge to choose from too!

Now, I've mentioned before about getting asked everyday where we are from, right???  Well, when we go out of town around here, that question makes us laugh even more, because we explain that we only live 2 hours away (then we get funny looks), but we relocated there from AL.  As soon as we say AL, everyone says, "Okay, I knew it was somewhere down south"!!!!
