The Prouty

Craig rode his bike in an event Saturday that was raising money for cancer research.  They had several things you could do like a 5K, a walk, bike ride, rowing, and golf.  It's up North and it's a huge event.  Last I heard it has raised over 2.5 million dollars just in bike riders.  There were soooo many people there.  We left early so that Craig could begin at 9 am.

Off they go!  Jimmy rode with Craig, and they rode 36 miles.  It took them about 3 hours.  He really enjoyed it and wants to do 100 miles next year.

The girls and I just hung around until they were finished.  Thankfully they had a kids tent where they could do some arts and crafts and do face paint, so they were entertained.  We had our friend Chevy with us too.

Craig called me when they were 1 mile out so we could go to the finish line to see them cross.

Very proud of him.  He did a great job!

When they were finished, we had lunch and hung out for a little while longer, then headed back home.  It was a great day.  All of the girls fell asleep on the way home too:)

Their team!

He rode in memory of his Aunt Sandy

and his Grandmother!
