The Eagle Cup, while not recognized nationwide, is one of the most coveted and prestigious awards in my amateur golfing career. The young guns of my family play the old men in a best ball 18 hole round of golf. Last year in April, Rick, my dad, and Ken, my uncle, won the cup in dramatic fashion at the beautiful Roegusta Municipal Course. This year with fire in our eyes and passion in our bellies, me and Matt, my brother, were determined to recapture the cup at the very challenging Castle Pines. The out come was never in doubt with the young guns taking an early lead, we went on to shoot a 78, which left the old men playing catch up for the rest of the round and posting a final score of 83. We make a lot of memories, have a lot of laughs, and share a lot of love every time we compete for the Eagle Cup. This year, it was my turn to take the cup to my house in NH. Today the cup went on tour in Boston and drew some attention from security at Fenway Park. I hope everyone, especially my brother, dad, and uncle enjoy these special pictures of our beloved Eagle Cup.
