When Craig is gone in the van, sometimes the girls like to play in the garage. We don't really have much outside play space here, and when it's super cold or snowing this works for them. We were waiting on Craig to come and get us so they played while we waited. I was trying to get some pics of them, but they were moving to quickly. We did go for a 2 mile walk with a friend, and it was so nice to be out in the sunshine, but it was super duper windy, which wasn't bad for those of us walking, but it was a bit much for the little stinker in the stroller.
Anna Claire is watching me do this post and she said, "momma me garage play, momma fun."

Fun in the kitchen
Yesterday the girls and I made some resurrection rolls and ate them for snack. It was lots of fun. Anna Claire kept eating the marshmallows instead of putting them in the rolls. Tomorrow night we will have our Good Friday service at church and then we plan to dye Easter eggs when we get home. We usually do it on Saturday, but it will be a busy day already so we are going to do it Friday instead.
A little photo-op first!
Ready for the oven
They're done
Time to snack

A Full Day
Tuesday, we started school, then had to break to take Kyndal to the Dr. where the Dr. said she was fine!?!? We will watch her and if she has anymore incidents we will get a second opinion.
We had a picnic lunch in the van, then shopped for Easter/Spring clothes at Kohl's. We went to the library and then back home to finish up school. It was quite a long day, but we surely enjoyed it.
I made baked chicken salad's for dinner and it was the first time for AC to have salad, so I wasn't sure how it would go, but she asked for seconds. Guess she enjoyed it:)

Weekend Recap
I know Wednesday wasn't the weekend, but I got a cute picture of AC playing at the library. We usually go every Wed. and she loves it. I can't wait until it's warm enough to walk there.
She loves playing with all the puzzles.
Thursday isn't the weekend either, but we went ice skating with some folks from the church and had a great time. I haven't been ice skating in at least 17 years, so I was very a bit nervous about trying it out again. However, to my surprise I did a good job, and never fell! I raced Craig and he beat me, darn it! I don't like to lose.
Friday night Craig and Abby went to a Middle School play here in town. They did High School Musical. A girl from church was in it, so they wanted to go see her. They said it was great and they had a good time. Kyndal, Anna Claire, and myself stayed home because it was gonna last too late for them.
They were watching Mickey Mouse on Daddy's laptop!
Saturday a sweet friend came and watched the girls here at home for about 3 1/2 hours while Craig and I went to a fund raiser for a ministry that some sweet folks in our church have. We had a really good time there, and actually got some great information on different things. We went to lunch and then ran a couple of errands. It was so nice to spend a few hours with him alone. That very sweet friend that kept the girls also brought us some yummy fresh Wild Alaskan Salmon that I cooked last night, and it was delicious. Once we got home, I headed back out to grocery shop and then we went to some good friends house for pizza and play time. The men and Abby went to a Hockey game with the church, while the rest of us played for a couple of hours. It was another event that was going to last to late for the other two girls. They had a great time again!
Sunday we had a wonderful service at church with an awesome, inspiring, and challenging message. After church we just hung out and did not much of anything.
We are taking Kyndal to the doctor tomorrow for some concerns we have so remember her in prayer please!
We have a busy week this week, and I plan to enjoy every minute.
I did a poor job of taking pictures this weekend! I will have to work on that:)

Around here
A couple of weekends ago it got into the 50s and it felt awesome. We took a long walk and when we got back I convinced Craig we should put the patio furniture back on the deck. He didn't really think we should, but did it for me. Well we haven't had too many of those 50 days anymore and we got lots of snow on Tuesday. Come on spring weather:)
Myself and 2 other friends who homeschool their kids just finished a Bible study, called No Other Gods, and we are now doing Let it Go. We begin that next week and I'm really looking forward to it.
We are having a Ladies Fellowship in a couple of weeks at the church that I'm looking forward to.
I am going to a Ladies Conference at another church in town on 4/12 with some other friends from the church, and I'm also looking forward to that.
This has been a really busy week, however I like to be busy, so it's all good.
School is going well and the girls will have their SAT test the second week of May, so we will see how they do on that. It's getting close to time to order cirriculum for next year!
Ice skating lessons are going very well and the girls love it. They go and practice one day a week after they've had their lesson. Their Daddy likes to skate with them. Last Friday they took several friends with them and had a great time.

Thanks Elmo
I've been trying at times to potty train Anna Claire, which hasn't been working like I had hoped it would. Some friends of ours gave us their Elmo Potty video and some books. AC has watched the video everyday since they gave it to us. She likes to have the books read to her as well. After about the first week of watching the video I would ask her did she want to potty like Elmo, and she would say "no". Ok then, this isn't working! Well after about 2 or 3 weeks of it, Craig put her in panties one morning, which was last Monday, and she has gone ever since. She has had a few accidents, but has done so very well. She does well when we are out at church and even when she spent the night away this past weekend. She does wear a diaper for nap and bedtime, but never wets it. I'm so excited!!!!
Here she is watching the video with her baby doll whose thumb she puts in her mouth!

Welcome Spring
This is our 1st day of Spring here in New England and this is what it looks like...
We got about 14 inches of snow yesterday, but we actually got a lot of necessary running around done despite the heavy snow fall. It's always soooo pretty the morning after especially when the sun is shining. We had to get out early this morning, and it actually feels really nice. I'm sure this will melt quickly as the temps are beginning to go up. Someone told me it was 81 this day last year!!!
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Celebrating Craig
We had some very sweet friends offer to keep the girls overnight on Friday, so Craig and I went to dinner and went bowling with some other friends, Sean and Jenn. We had a really great night full of many laughs making good memories. We went to a Japenese Steak House first and then went to the bowling alley where I lost the first game to Sean by only 1 darn point, dang it, then we went for dessert at another restaurant afterwards.
So we got a full nights sleep Friday night and woke up Saturday when we wanted to, which was early because we are use to it. We walked to a restaurant for breakfast and then walked about a mile or so and headed back home. We picked up the girls about 10:30, ate lunch, and gave Anna Claire a nap. We had some other sweet friends keep the girls from about 2:15-7:00 while Craig and I went and strolled the streets of Boston. The weather was pretty that day, but it was a bit cold. It was super crowded, I guess because it was St. Patrick's weekend and they really celebrate that here. We walked about a mile or so to the Prudential Building hoping to go to the top and be able to see out over Boston, but it was closed due to an event that was going on. So we went and had dinner at PF Changs and then walked back to the car and headed back to pick up the girls who were very exhausted. They went straight to sleep after bath time. However, sweet little AC woke me up 3 times during the night and Kyndal fell off the bed, so that woke me up for a fourth time. Ha, the joys of motherhood!!! We had an absolute wonderful weekend, and are thankful for the time we were able to spend together. We are also very thankful for the wonderful people who kept our girls for us to make spending time together possible:)

Another year older!
The Boston Public Library! The tall building right behind it is the Prudential Building.
I don't remember the name of this church, but there are so many beautiful buildings down there!
Had a blast!

Happy Birthday...
to the greatest husband, daddy, pastor, preacher, and friend. Craig you are now on the down hill slide to turning 40. What a blessing. I love you and hope you have the most wonderful and encouraging birthday ever. Hope to spend many more with you too. The girls and I love you and thank you for taking such good care of us.

Shred
I've been doing Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred workout for the last 4 weeks. Sometimes the girls want to do it with me, or want to do it on their own, or whatever. They are funny. I do make them do some exercising during the weekdays though like P.E. Now that hopefully the weather is going to start staying warmer and prettier we will go for lots of walks and get plenty of Vitamin D. Anyways, I got some hilarious pictures of them doing the workout the other day. I even got some video on my video camera.
Push ups
You like AC's workout mat????
Getting ready to do her crunches, which believe it or not she does really well.
Anna Claire always starts out doing the workout with me, and after about one minute, she says "hod" (hard) momma, and sits down!

Ice Skating
Abby and Kyndal started their ice skating lessons last Monday and are loving it. They are doing a good job too. With the classes they got 8 free passes to go skate anytime, so we took them last Friday and Craig skated with them. We will try to take them every week after classes for extra practice.
