Celebrating Craig

We had some very sweet friends offer to keep the girls overnight on Friday, so Craig and I went to dinner and went bowling with some other friends, Sean and Jenn.  We had a really great night full of many laughs making good memories.  We went to a Japenese Steak House first and then went to the bowling alley where I lost the first game to Sean by only 1 darn point, dang it, then we went for dessert at another restaurant afterwards.

So we got a full nights sleep Friday night and woke up Saturday when we wanted to, which was early because we are use to it.  We walked to a restaurant for breakfast and then walked about a mile or so and headed back home.  We picked up the girls about 10:30, ate lunch, and gave Anna Claire a nap.  We had some other sweet friends keep the girls from about 2:15-7:00 while Craig and I went and strolled the streets of Boston.  The weather was pretty that day, but it was a bit cold.  It was super crowded, I guess because it was St. Patrick's weekend and they really celebrate that here.  We walked about a mile or so to the Prudential Building hoping to go to the top and be able to see out over Boston, but it was closed due to an event that was going on.  So we went and had dinner at PF Changs and then walked back to the car and headed back to pick up the girls who were very exhausted.  They went straight to sleep after bath time.  However, sweet little AC woke me up 3 times during the night and Kyndal fell off the bed, so that woke me up for a fourth time. Ha, the joys of motherhood!!!  We had an absolute wonderful weekend, and are thankful for the time we were able to spend together.  We are also very thankful for the wonderful people who kept our girls for us to make spending time together possible:)

Another year older!

The Boston Public Library!  The tall building right behind it is the Prudential Building.

I don't remember the name of this church, but there are so many beautiful buildings down there!

Had a blast!

Good for you for getting away with your hubby. It's easy to let weeks slip by without taking time for each other. I saw a quote recently (but don't remember where) - "The grass is always greener where it's watered."
